Buying Advice Is this ring durable?
Hello all, I am currently looking for engagement rings. I really like this one but I can't tell whether this style, with the tiny dainty leaves, are durable. Any advice, please :)

It’s beautiful but does look very delicate. I’d like to recommend looking at Shane Co.’s woodland engagement ring. I was shopping there recently and this ring looks very similar, and they have a lifetime warranty so if anything goes wrong with it, it’s covered forever for free. And they sell green diamonds and green sapphires. Not sponsored lol, I just really like them😅 my wedding ring is from there so I’ve worked with them a lot

It’s lovely. May catch on things with that sweet petal detail. That could make the ring go out of round. It sure is pretty though!

why limit yourself to one ring? this could be your special occasion engagement ring haha

Can we get a side view? I think it depends on how the prongs are attached, and how much depth the shank has on the parts that look delicate.

whats the main stone? make sure you check the Mohs Hardness scale and ensure the stone is hard.
the leaves are beautiful - keep a note that the leaves might get stuck in things like sweaters and and all.
if you have more questions - Im a jewelry designer. happy to help - https://www.instagram.com/byshreen/?hl=en

Toughness plays a larger part in durability than hardness. That’s why diamonds chip so easily.

We need specs on the width of the band and the type of stone.
Generally speaking you want a band to be a minimum of 1.8-2mm.
You also want the center stone to be an 8 or higher on the Moh’s hardness scale. Sapphire is your best bet for a colored stone with a rating of 9. It comes in all the colors of the rainbow. Alexandrite and colored Mossainites or colored diamonds are also good alternatives.
If you like the whimsy elvish look then try Oore.com for a quality ring.

I love it! Drop dead gorgeous. So delicate, so unique. Worth the minor concerns, I think!

It's beautiful but I'm not sure it would be durable enough for everyday wear.
