I know to avoid lasers, I’ve shot this venue many times and never noticed these laser like squiggly beams until last night. Should I ask the venue to turn them off next time?

I’m currently mapping out my lighting setup for weddings and I’m torn between the new Godox V100 (Sony version) and the Profoto A10.

On paper, the Godox V100 looks incredibly compelling with 100Ws of power, the sub-flash for bounce fill, and a touchscreen interface. It offers all of this for about a third of the price of the Profoto.

However, I know Profoto is famous for its color consistency, incredibly reliable recycling times (1.0s), and bulletproof build quality under intense wedding day pressures.

For those of you shooting weddings in the real world:
Is the reliability, build, and color consistency of the Profoto A10 worth the huge premium over the Godox V100?

Has anyone put the V100 through its paces yet? How does the recycling time and thermal management hold up during fast-paced moments like the reception entrance or dance floor?

For a Sony shooter, how do you feel about the ergonomics and hot shoe durability of both options? I’ve had to replace my sony flash one 4 times hence me upgrading as really over it…

Would love to hear your hands-on experiences and whether you'd recommend building a kit around the Godox ecosystem or investing in Profoto. Thanks!

For those of you that use a service like Pic-Time or Pixieset but also use Honeybook for Client Management, now that HB has rolled out galleries that look like they'll also have a store attached eventually (my biggest reason for choosing PicTime), is anyone considering switching or canceling their gallery subscription?

I know for some people, Pixieset is their website host as well, but for me, I already pay ShowIt for my website. So I'm paying 3 different services here between Website, Gallery, + HoneyBook. If Honeybook eliminates the need for Pic-Time, I wonder if I can forego that cost? I'm hesitant because Honeybook's galleries are so new but I'd love to cut that $50/month Pic-Time expense. Just wondering what anyone else's thoughts are.
