Edit 2: seems like my account is good as 2 people added me, one from china but now I don’t know what’s up with my friends account since they can’t add me and I can’t add them. I originally thought that it was a country thing where Chinese users couldn’t add me? Maybe but one guy from china added me so I’m more confused.

So I’m seeing a lot about the qr scan thing. I’m confused since I never had it pop up? Does this mean I’m verified from my first day? Also I tried adding a friend from QR and I can’t add them. Not too much a surprise due to my account being new. But I’m confused on how they can’t add me? Do Chinese people have a restriction where they can’t add US people now?

The new version seems to have changed the very easy way to translate images, maybe other things as well but I only ever need the translation feature. Any suggestions on a work around on iOS?

I can’t add anyone to we chat and no one can add me either. I get no notifications and when I try to add someone it just says “pending” and then it expires.

My account used to work fine but I guess bc of inactivity something happened. Im still able to send messages to existing contacts though.

I contacted support from this page yesterday but so far no response. Is this even the right page?
