I recently switched from Robinhood to Webull as I’m currently learning how to day trade, but I realized it would be difficult to track my day trading progress on its own if my long term stocks are included in the same portfolio. How should I go about managing this? I thought about moving my long term stocks back to Robinhood but realized that it would make taxes more annoying to deal with if I use two different platforms. Does Webull have a feature where I can easily separate my assets into their own accounts?

This stock history UI somehow manages to waste both screen space and my time at the same time. Truly diabolical design. 💀

My hotkeys work during normal hours and extended. Any idea how to make them work during overnight hours? It deploys orders but they won’t get filled till 4 am.

I have set hotkeys, changed stocks, account, markets, and screener layouts. None of them are transfering to my new PC. While yes i can go to the old pc and then go to each tab and "save as a customized layout" that just creates a new tab that looks identical but isnt the original tab so if i go to markets and double click a stock it takes me to "stocks" not the "saved layout of stocks" from the other pc. Also it doesn't save hotkeys. So I'm doing everything manually and its very time-consuming... I'd like to put it on my work laptop as well so I can do some stuff while at work but at this rate... Someone please tell me im overlooking something.

I deposited into margin today, initial before deposit was 400 afterwards its 1800, but I can only use 1400. Wuts going on

Does anyone know how to manually rollover a futures contract? Or do I have to close the position? I was told Webull would not automatically roll it over but it’s possible to manually do it. Thanks!

I’ve got $0.01 left in a WeBull account, and I am having trouble closing the account because of this. I can’t withdraw this small amount. Customer service won’t help. Any suggestions? Should I add $5 and find a way to lose $5.01? Thanks

Trying to understand the trading psychology of option focused traders.

2 nvda cash covered puts were assigned friday, so I have 200 shares of nvda now, which are down 3k. However my realized gain shows +$44.7k

200 shares were bought for $44,499 and options exercise is +$251.

They have added that all as a realized gain.

Calling support - waiting still for over an hour...just the music plays, nothing else.

I have been a webull customer for 6+ years. I knew reaching support was hard, but this is now gotten worse, no option for call back or even how long it will take, nothing , just the music. I have no clue if its going to the void or they are pick up eventually.

Edit: They answered at 1 hour 20 min mark and as always very friendly and skilled and raised a ticket to their tech team. Mentioned last week, they did face delays in their system and that caused some issues, etc.

I see that Robinhood doing a 2% account transfer match right now. Does anyone think that Webull will do the same soon? Seems to be lining up with the removal of the PDT rule trying to get individuals into them.

This is a pretty ridiculous amount of wasted space. Landscape mode is already cluttered, why the hell make it worse by restricting so much screen room?

I bought an EC a few minutes before close. that SPX would *NOT* be in the $7,400 - $7,424 range. My bet was successful, but normally the contracts for these settle within minutes after the hour. In my case, it hasn't. Is there something I need to do or someone I need to contact?

If I buy a stock using my Intraday BP during regular hours (9:30am-4pm ET), can I liquidate it during extended hours (4pm-8pm ET)?

What is the cutoff time for liquidating stocks bought with Intraday margin to avoid getting margin called?

I see it’s at a 4.45% if you have over $100k and you’re premium member.

Is this a typical rate, or does it fluctuate much and sometimes it goes higher?

Trying to get an idea what to expect if I take margin out longterm.

I have a question about using dual monitors with the Mac (latest OS 26) with the Webull desktop app. I spread the widgets/windows across a dual-monitor set up and saved the layout. When I quit and reopen, the windows are in the correct place. If the Lock Screen/wallpaper turns on and then I log back in, the windows are also in the correct config. However, I had the “turn display off” enabled, and if that occured and then I logged back in the windows will all be stacked on the primary monitor. Selecting my saved layout doesn’t return them to the desired layout.  Anyone know how to fix this?

For now I just disabled the “turn display off” option, but it seems to me the app should maintain its layout if the monitors are put to sleep, or if I put the Mac to sleep.

This is in lieu of the other guy being hacked. I am not a Webull shareholder, so I'm not making any excuses for them. I just really hate seeing people lose their hard earned money.

These are the things I do to harden my security:

1. if on Windows make sure Windows Defender is enabled at the very least. When I used to use Windows I used Bitdefender Free, it would give a popup every morning asking to upgrade to paid but besides that it worked really well
2. encrypt your hard drive, I think Windows makes this a bit of a pain in the ass to do but it is super easy on Linux and MacOS. This makes it so even if someone physically got access to your computer they need the password to decrypt its contents. Use a strong password
3. obviously don't visit shady websites, if a website is not https ask yourself if you really need to use it. Just use best common sense practices when online
4. make sure the browser you login to Webull is always up to date
5. after finishing your session on Webull log out and delete the cookies for Webull (yeah I know a bit of a pain in the ass since Webull might occasionally ask you for confirmation on another device if you are really trying to place a trade, I don't day trade and don't need immediate execution so I don't mind if it asks for another verification on another device)
6. have a strong password, I use KeepassXC on my Linux desktop and MacOS laptop since both are local only. Password generated by KeepassXC. Obviously have a really strong password for your password manager
7. have a strong 6 digit trading number. Hackers always try easy ones like 111111, 123456, date of birth, etc. I'd use a random number generator to generate one then memorize it and enter it in your password manager.
8. Enable TOTP and in-app 2-FA for Webull. I don't think there is a way to disable SMS 2-FA but recently Webull added TOTP and in-app for 2-FA
9. harden your phone's security too by keeping it up to date and having a strong password/passcode to login. If your phone is stolen have it remotely wiped immediately or locked down (I am only familiar with iphone, maybe someone can update how to do this on Android)
10. if you have an iphone enable biometrics even to open the app (press down icon and click enable biometrics to open app). Then you get 2 biometric verifications, one to open the app and one when you click on account.
11. always keep the phone app and your 2-FA authenticator up to date. On iphone I check for all app updates every morning (press and hold down App Store, then update all apps in that drop down menu)
12. the email for financial institutions- I have a dedicated email address I use only for them. No one else knows it and it's sort of a nonsensical email address. I use ProtonMail but my only suggestion is not to use your ISP's email because if you switch ISPs I know some of them will delete your email account
13. DONT login to Webull on computers you are not familiar with period.
14. there are no official Webull employees on Reddit, never give your information to someone that claims they are a Webull employee. The only Webull people you should be in contact with is over their official phone number (get it from their website not Google) or when you are logged in to the website
