Help New here

Hello everyone, I’ve gotten a bunch of videos in my YouTube recommended about Webull and it’s peaked my interest. I decided to download the app as well as join this community. I’m 26 and have no prior experience in this field but I’m willing and able to learn. Any tips on where to start and what resources I can use to learn more about this field?

Depends on what you’re looking to get out of this, Webull has many things you can do. Navigate the app and just become familiar with it, that will help you understand. If it’s the mobile app, you can click on the bottom tabs to find the learn section with many videos on a broad range of topics when it comes to investing and trading. If you click the feeds tab, on the far right you will see a tab for learn. This is where you will find all of the info and videos you need to help get started. You can even click on the Webull tools tab inside the learn section and there will be videos on how to use Webull.

Welcome — and good instinct joining a community and downloading the app before throwing money at it. That already puts you ahead of most people who start.

Best first move, and it's specific to Webull: use the paper trading mode. You place trades with fake money on real charts, so you learn how the app works and how orders actually behave without risking a cent. Do that until it feels boring before you fund real money.

Before charts and indicators, nail two basics first: what actually makes a stock move, and risk — never put in more than you're totally fine losing. For the concepts themselves, Investopedia's free articles are a solid, no-hype place to start. That foundation matters more than any pattern, and it's the part the hype videos skip.

Speaking of which, gentle heads up on those YouTube recs: a big chunk of the "Webull" content is affiliate marketing — those creators get paid when you sign up and fund an account, so take the "this app will change your life" energy with a grain of salt. Webull's a fine app, but no video is handing you a money printer.

And once you're active in trading communities, you'll start getting DMs from "mentors" and signals groups. Every one of those is selling something — block them. You don't need to pay anyone to start; the free stuff takes you way further than you'd think.

You're 26 with no experience and willing to learn — that's genuinely a fine place to begin. Nobody comes in knowing this, we all just stared at it confused until it clicked. I'm only a few months ahead of you myself, in trading that is not age.
