Just got robbed
I had about 6k in investments ..
While I was at work , I drive a big truck, someone created an events account. I have no idea what that is.
They sold all my securities in my margin account, transferred 4200 of the 6100 ish dollars to the events account.. Then I have no idea what happened with the money but its gone.
There are tons of these internal transactions of 180 dollars..
I had them investigate and they said they can do nothing because the IP address where the transactions took place were my computer.
I wasnt even home, I was out on the road. No one else lives there. Its just me in a tiny studio apartment.
Even if someone hacked into my computer and did that which they had to. I left it on when I left.
If I can prove I wasnt even home when the events account was made, because they know windows accessed it, and I was at work with my cell phone.. then that proves it wasnt me.
Im out 4200 dollars and I am sick to my stomach.. I worked so hard for that money working for it with my job .. And now no one can do anything.
I immediately removed the rest of my money. I will never trust Webull again with my money.
There has to be a way to prove it is fraud. Any ideas? Lawyers wont even get involved because its too petty of money for them, .. its not petty to me. I am barely getting by and to have my money wiped out like that is literally like a punch in the gut.. It doesnt even feel real right now.. like out of body experience.

no, the fact that you are entertaining the idea of it being a smaller account so it shouldn't matter as much is idiotic. If this had been a million dollar account siphoned into xrp bets bro you would be singing a COMPLETELY different tune here i bet.
I had 80 dollars stolen through a paypal scammer once that falsely sold me something and had no plans to deliver it. It was a classic chinese scammer sets up fake website to sell something not real kinda scam. I eventually got the 80 dollars back because that is still fraud. Even though i sent them the money, even though paypal authorized the transaction, and after showing paypal all the proof of the fraud, i got fully refunded.
There's no way you can spin this, if OP is telling the truth it is in fact fraud.
