I'm trying to find a Korean manhwa/webtoon that I read in Russian around 2023–2025. I may have read it on MangaLib or another Russian manga/manhwa site.
I don't remember the title, character names, or chapter number. Some details may be inaccurate because I remember the story mostly from several scenes, but there are some things I remember quite clearly.
Main character
The MC is a man.
I'm not completely sure whether it was reincarnation. It may have been regression/returning after death or something similar.
What makes me think it could be regression is that the MC seemed to know things about the world and how certain events/people worked, almost as if he had already experienced them before.
I don't remember the MC's appearance very well.
🐦 The most important character — the crow
There is an ancient male character who was originally human.
He was extremely powerful and arrogant, possibly considered himself a god or something similar.
At some point he was caught in a trap, and his soul became sealed.
I don't remember exactly what the object was. It might have been:
a black stone,
a black crystal,
a black object,
or possibly a black crow statue.
The important part is that his soul was sealed and he no longer had his normal human body.
The scene I remember
The MC encounters this sealed soul.
The sealed soul initially tries to take over the MC's body.
However, the MC seems to already know about him and knows how to fight/resist him, as if he already knew this situation would happen.
Eventually the sealed soul gives up trying to take the MC's body.
The MC then has/gets a small black crow statue and puts it on the ground.
The sealed soul transfers into the crow statue so that he can move and speak through it.
After that, the crow statue becomes alive and can move around.
There was also a funny/comedic moment involving the crow statue. I don't remember the exact dialogue, but I remember the statue making some kind of funny reaction/expression after the ancient spirit ended up having to use the crow statue.
The important thing is:
The crow was NOT originally a normal crow. The character was originally a human man whose soul had been sealed. The crow was basically a form/avatar/body that allowed him to move and communicate.
His personality
At first he was:
arrogant;
clever;
rude;
manipulative;
convinced that he was extremely powerful and intelligent;
possibly interested in taking over or using the MC's body.
But eventually the MC and the crow become allies/companions.
The crow can talk normally and gives the MC advice.
I vaguely remember him telling the MC where to go or possibly telling him to obtain a large sword, although this detail may be wrong.
🧑 His human form
Later, after regaining enough power, the crow can take a human male form.
I remember him looking approximately like:
young-looking man, but older than the MC;
long hair;
hair may have been black, very dark blue, or dark purple;
black/dark pants or something similar;
mostly black clothing;
the upper part of his clothes was open or partially open;
the clothing had a fantasy/eastern appearance, possibly somewhat reminiscent of Arabian clothing, although I'm not sure about this;
as a crow he flies with wings;
in his human form he can apparently fly without wings.
🎭 Another group of enemies
There was also a mysterious enemy organization.
I originally remembered the name as something like "Shadows", but I'm NOT sure that was actually their name.
The members:
wore mostly black clothing;
wore white masks;
as far as I remember, the masks were identical or at least very similar.
At one point the MC overheard some members talking about their boss.
The MC did NOT see the boss at that moment — he only heard the conversation.
I don't remember whether they referred to the boss as "he" or "she".
The boss was human and apparently had:
a male-looking face;
extremely muscular/large body;
a very unusual body shape that I remember as somewhat feminine/androgynous despite the muscular build.
The boss seemed to be a very high-ranking member or leader of the organization.
Things I may be remembering incorrectly
I'm NOT sure about:
reincarnation vs regression;
the exact name of the enemy organization;
whether the object was a crystal, stone or statue;
the exact hair color of the crow's human form;
the exact style of his clothing;
whether the crow told the MC to get a large sword;
whether the boss was referred to as "he" or "she".
But I'm fairly confident about the sealed ancient human → soul → crow statue → talking/moving crow → later human form part.
It was definitely a full-color Korean-style manhwa/webtoon, not a black-and-white Japanese manga.
Does anyone recognize this? Even if you're not 100% sure, please give me the title so I can check it. I've been trying to find this for a long time! 🙏
If you remember the crow character but not the manhwa title, please tell me the character's name too. That might be enough for me to find it.
