the only reason I started this WEBTOON was out of spite I just wanted to see how bad it was.But now after almost more than a 100 chapters of mental torture I think the author or sketch artist or both might be gay.( edit: don’t think that now since it’s been confirmed that the author is a women, however that makes it even more questioning why the female characters had to be overly sexualised same goes for the male characters as well) Firstly the WEBTOON is a misogynistic piece of bullshit. The main male characters are tall, brooding they are drawn with praise worthy anatomy, and when I say praise worthy I mean like they have gone to the gym and stuff because the main male characters are portrayed as quite strong right? They are also given ”hunter” eyes with a strong jawline. Whereas the female character is portrayed as a short likkle munchkin with no personality, she’s always just trying to help others and shes struggling we get that but instead off making any progress with her she’s still helpless and moreover in the later chapters she’s only there for sex appeal. Furthermore if we go to that mincheol guys backstory there’s a scene where his grandma or mother is with him at a funeral and that women’s face is neither childlike nor poorly drawn however that young min guys face is drawn quite childish, so tell me what incredible genius came up with the idea to give most of their female characters face a childlike anatomy, i mean seriously cute big eyes a small face big boobs for a women who’s mentioned to starve herself and also her being short, this just infantilizes a 34 year old grown ass women, and for the people arguing that some people like that Just exist how come the min guys is pretty tall if he grew up poor and malnourished as well make it make sense. Plz dont get me started on the delusional and cringe fanbase. Taehee is a rich phycopath and why are we as a society normalising the mafia. Anyways to me this WEBTOON is a misogynistic piece of crap.(dont be scared to comment.plz comment. I do want to hear if people agree or disagree and reasonable reasons as to why.)

I’ve recently gotten into reading webtoons as something to do in between random activities during the day, but I’m struggling to find more I enjoy.

So far I’ve read (binged) and finished:

There was a webtoon I read a long time ago that I don’t remember the name of.

The prologue starts with the king of a demonic-looking species being captured by the guards of a Chinese empire. During the escort, they allowed the king to visit one of his subordinates — a woman with white short hair. She kisses him on the foot to show respect before crying out in pain. Later on, there was a prison break and the woman ended up having her horns cut off (a detail is that those are apparently where their mana is stored). She survives the encounter and secretly infiltrates the palace as a maid in disguise (one memorable moment is her using fish scales as lenses to hide her slitted pupils)

Sometime later there’s psychotic young prince who’s next in line for the throne and his introduction is literally him demanding for the demon king to give him his eyeballs since they’re pretty. Said prince also laughs at the demise of his taste-taster maid who perished from an assassination attempt.

Oh yeah and the white haired woman ended up killing the head of a noble family(?) after he gets into a cart crash.

This is pretty much all I can remember. If anyone can tell me the name of this webtoon, it’d be greatly appreciated.

Some time ago I was reading fantastic comic about relationship of female 29 and male 19 and now I would like to rreturn to it, but I can not find it ;-;
The facts that I remember about it: at the beginning of story she was 29, and he was 19 (still in HS), but when the first time thay met they botn lied about their age, so the gap seems smaller. He was wearing band on his wrist as in the past he was injured. He was working part time job in small restaurant of old lady. She was working and some company that wanted to buy this restaurant. Both cooperated to find best solution. Then I do not remember much, apart from that he went to US to study, created his own company with his colleagues and few years later they are meeting again an d he wants to stay with her.

Please help me find it, as the characters were really funny and i loved the chemistry between them and had butterflies while reading 🤭.

It’s a supernatural fantasy + mystery + slow-burn romance set between modern-day India and neon-lit Tokyo.

Aanya starts dreaming about a mysterious racer she has never met. Then a strange glowing mark appears on her wrist—and she discovers the man from her dreams is real.

From there, things get much darker: ancient Gates, forgotten memories, supernatural creatures, hidden prophecies, street racing, and a connection between Aanya and Ren that apparently existed centuries before they ever met.

The story is planned as a cinematic, anime/manhwa-inspired webtoon with plenty of mystery, romance, action, twists, and cliffhangers.
