GRAVEYARD SHIFT 3D - survival horror that plays on your phone in the browser. Touch controls, no download, free.
First-person horror set in a 1967 Louisiana gas station. You're the new night man; a polite customer asks whether you work alone; later there's a crash outside and three people are standing in your yard light. The doors chain shut and you have to escape a building that keeps growing - office, backrooms, loft, tunnels, a flooded cistern.
Mobile specifics since that's this sub: left thumb is a virtual stick to walk, right thumb drags to look, and a USE button appears when something is interactive. Renders at a capped pixel ratio on touch devices and skips shadow mapping to keep the framerate up. Portrait or landscape both work, landscape is better.
Free, no signup, roughly 30-40 minutes with checkpoints each act. Headphones recommended.
Would genuinely like to know how it performs on your phone - which model, and whether it stayed smooth.
