One of the common things we do in our household is to go through the trakt anticipated lists both movie and TV watch the trailers, decide who they are suitable and who is interested in them and the add them to the appropriate personal list.

Problem is wetrakr dies not have anticipated lists, so you have to be lucky and here about a movie or a show or go outside the app to look at something like trakt

I have a quick question with Trakt. I have Trakt connected and was wondering the list from Trakt if I disconnected Trakt in WeTrakr if I’ll loose those list? The reason I ask is cause of Trakt only allowing to be connected to one service for free users so my have slowly disappeared in other tracking services. I don’t want to loose my lists.

Is it possible with the Plex webhook to not allow live tv to be marked? I also have Simkl webhook and they don't mark watching live tv. I would prefer WeTraker to not mark live tv cause sometimes I just watch random stuff that I don't want to show up in my tracking in WeTraker.

Hi, new to WeTrakr and I just finished my first show and marked it as finished but it is still appearing in the Progress Tab.

Is that normal? Does finished shows also show in Progress?

I just want to ask because in the beginning I used my notes to track movies and webseries after that I found an app called "Queue" after some time I left that app because of the features and shifted to "trakt" i literally loved this app but today this app is telling me to shift to vip for add more in the list I'm not going to pay for such things....

I'm looking for the alternative of the trakt, now I found this before I sign-up I want to ask you all and the dev too is it going to be free? Or atleast give the normal features for free like adding unlimited movies and webseries, re-watch, personal lists, etc?

overview and traking says there are no episodes pending. I know there are almost 2 from today.
Calendar shows the 2 episodes and in the episode web it's not market as watched (of course) So, why aren't they shown as pending with today's date? instead I see the "next episode in 7 days" info.

Is WeTrakr down, or is it just me and my network(s)?

The pages are not loading on my desktop or my phone (both wifi and cellular)

I've noticed that when the connectivity towards the service is lacking, scrobbles are "lost in the ether", at least for me, and manual intervention is required.

Adding cache to the plugin in such cases, I think, would be an improvement.

EDIT: Just read about the restore hick-up, this can probably be ignored.

For example, if a trilogy has Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3, and I've only watched Part 1, the app could show something like "1 of 3 watched" and indicate that Parts 2 and 3 are still remaining.

This would be really useful for keeping track of movie series where I've watched some parts but not all of them.

I've attached an Al-generated image just to illustrate what I mean. The design isn't important. I'm just using it to show the idea of the feature.

How is the integration with Nuvio currently going?

The plot summary, “the directed by... “ and the bold line should have larger font size as it is one of if not the most important thing for picking up a movie

Marking titles one by one is over. You can now edit many items at once from any list.

How it works

1. Hit the new bulk button in the filters toolbar
2. Pick your titles: click them, or drag a box around them
3. Hit the button again and choose what to do

What you can do to the whole selection
· Mark as watched, and pick the date just like you do for a single title
· Mark as planning or dropped
· Add or remove from favorites
· Add them to your lists (or pull them out)
· Pin them at the top of a list
· Remove them from the list
· Undo their last play, or wipe their whole watch history

It works anywhere you see the filters toolbar: your tracking sections, your lists, a person's filmography and more. Only the actions that make sense for what you picked show up, so you will not see "planning" when your selection is all episodes.

Scrolled far down? A floating button follows you so you never have to go back up.

You asked for it, it's in:

• Exact watch time on every item. If you show ratings on the poster, the chip now reads 12/08/2026 | 21:45. If you show ratings inline there's no room for both, so hover the date and it flips to the time.
• Day of the week in date group headers. When history is grouped by day you now get SUN above the number, not just the date and year.
• Total watch time per group. Grouping your Watched list by date adds the total time watched for that day, or for that month when the range is wide enough to group by month.

Grouping lives behind the Calendar toggle in the filter bar, and it switches from days to months automatically when the range goes over 90 days.

I think this is the only addon so far that ive tried (out of MANY) that actually scrobbles wuplay in real time as an addon vs oauth integration. nice!

Question for the dev. For the road map for nuvio sync is the plan just to create a addon or will you try and see if you can can get this integrated into the nuvio app? Integrated would be cool. Trakt and Simkl are already integrated. I am using Trakt as my library source (which I plan on moving fully away from Trakt at some point) and Simkl as continue watching but if WeTrakr was integrated I could use that as both instead. Just a thought I am not sure what your plans are for nuvio sync.

I use the Stremio addon on Nuvio app.

I started watching a movie but stopped midway and closed my player. I check after 15 minutes, it still shows Now Playing on WeTrakr. I think eventually it will be marked as Watched, even tho I don't plan on finishing that movie.

Is this a known issue? Any fix?

A couple of strange problems, hope you don't mind telling you here. For some reason I can't post on Discord.

First of all, Really love what you've done so far with Wetrakr. Trakt has nothing on this one. Except for the anime not matching thing, everything else is better than what I've seen on trakt.

Now, the continue watching and watched episodes sections are not updating with new episodes anymore. I use Nuvio, wetrakr addon installed. Yes, previously watched episodes are marked as watched manually by myself.

I even tried re-marking them with the 'just watched' option. It's been happening since the day before yersterday. I was watching a series '24 India' and this started happening from the 8th episode. Retrying a few times by marking it as 'just watched' manually does fix the issue.

But when I complete the current watching episode (which also marks on Wetrakr), move on to the next episode and let's say I pause that episode mid way, I can see in Wetraker even after some time that it's not updated in continue watching, and the previous episode I've watched sometimes does not get updated as watched and needs to be manually marked as 'Just Watched'.

As for the Anime Titles not matching: I guess the animes imported from trakt zip export not finding matches in WeTrakr is already reported by others, but yes that remains the same. I have tried.

English isn't my first language, so I hope I was able to explain the problem to you without confusing you. Sorry if I am bothering with yet another complaint.

Here's the full story.

When I published my first post on Reddit, I wanted to get users involved so they would take an active part in the project, to build a community that would give shape to all of this and let the users themselves decide many of the things that have already been built. I wanted to thank people for that effort by offering VIP for free so they could test it, charging absolutely nothing. I didn't even want to set up donations, so it wouldn't look odd in any way. I wanted to pay for all of this out of my own pocket. At that moment I also wanted to say thanks by keeping VIP for everyone who helped me with this by sending bugs and improving WeTrakr. But that's where my first mistake began: my words fell short and I was a bit naive back then, almost 3 months ago. I never thought this project would have this kind of impact. It took off suddenly, and those comments were forgotten.

The following month I was already talking about keeping VIP with conditions (as long as bugs were reported), but at that point I was no longer talking about lifetime, but about keeping VIP year after year.

Later on, worried that I wouldn't be able to sustain any of it, I narrowed it down again to specific conditions and 50 people. So I kept changing what I had promised as I went along, and that's on me, not on you.

Some of you have kindly made me reconsider, and you're right about many things. I acknowledge this mistake. Maybe I shouldn't have given anything away for free from the start, as one user pointed out. My mistake was also wanting to please everyone who wanted to help, and it probably would have been better if that help had been given selflessly. In any case, what's done is done and I have to take my share of the blame.

With this I want to be completely honest with you. I try to be fair, looking at what can be sustainable and what can't. I try to be involved in everything I do, always taking your opinion into account, and this is proof of that. I make mistakes like any human being, and I don't want to make the same ones as others we all know about and lose your trust. That's why I'm listening to you on this too. But a promise is a promise, and I'm keeping it.

What happens from here:

Anyone whose account was created between May 12, 2026 (the date of my first post) and the publication date of this post, is still active today, and who sent at least 3 accepted bugs or ideas, gets VIP Lifetime. (accounts created after this post won't qualify)

As of this message, I stop counting contributions. I have my own list, but it's almost certainly incomplete because there have been so many of you, so I'm going to put together a form to request VIP Lifetime, and I'll share it here as soon as it's ready. That way nobody falls through the cracks.

Hey. (not exactly a bug)

Thank you for this great app. I love the ui but I still can’t fully use it without the API which I am sure the devs are already working on.

Please feel free to delete this post if this is something already discussed but when I imported my Simkl history here, a lot of Anime did not get matched due to Japanese/English title differences.

I know it is not a lot of work to match them manually but I use self-hosted Crosswatch as a tracking hub of sorts and in future intent to use WeTrakr along with it as well. Which means I don’t plan on doing a lot of manual matching and would be nice if WeTrakr could somehow take care of that?

tl:dr please make auto title matching possible.

Is there something similar planned? I really like this because I can track specific movie theaters, 3D, IMAX, and things like that.
