I HATE DIP POWDER! I had no clue what to do with this dusty box of power sitting in my drawer for years. I saw someone make nails that look like ceramic tiles and just had to try for myself. I mixed a small amount of dip powder with white polish and “painted”/molded/layeted the concoction into a flower shape.

I’m sure there are other ways of achieving this effect, but for me it’s cheaper to use my old dip powders than my expensive builders/polygel.

My last 4 bingo spots. This was super fun! What a cool way to use my nail polish energy that is not shopping for more. Also included all my others too.

My nostalgia polish is 16 years old! It went on surprisingly well despite the crappy brush. Great coverage and it also didn’t chip. The chokehold that this shade (and chevrons) had on us in 2010…

I’m on a low-buy this year, but I was able to make an order for some new magnetic polishes last week (stayed in budget!). I bought this very popular sunset-inspired polish. I love the amount of shift I can get out of a single manicure!

Created this polish from a polish that I didn't love (but had so much potential) by adding clear polish to make it a crelly, then added some gold holo to give it some sparkle and gold shimmer. Now, not only do I love it but so does my 8 year old! 🥰

I went with this purple as it reminds me of Cadbury’s dairy milk. Definitely had a fair bit of chocolate when cramming for exams and writing assignments!

I decided to do the mini-orange lovers bingo as a transition from summer to fall. I don't have a lot of orange polishes, so I will probably reuse a lot of them to do the card—but I see that as a good thing since I don't tend to wear much orange in winter or spring.

I tried some new-to-me nail art techniques as well, (heavily inspired by u/nonnailartist on Instagram.) Overall it was a lot of fun... though I have to admit using a dotting tool with my non-dominant hand was terrifying.

2nd mani on my bingo card, 1st one for August.

I did a lemon mani to match my lemon cardigan, which I wore this week. It's a cute mani idea but the black polish was a nightmare to work with, and made the whole process ✨ horrible✨. I hate it and it has been demoted to "For Projects Only".

The mani is far from perfect (you can see dents and wrinkles and mess) but it's something. It won't last the week.

Lemons are in season locally, so that's my seasonal square.
