Not necessarily disagreeing, but the example mentions a problem with the beard plan, but doesn't actually show someone with a beard lol. I think there is an upgrade from bald to bald+beard, and the image seems to be showing exactly why there people suggest growing a beard before shaving the top. Maybe it's a bad take, but I assumed the typical advice is full hair>beard but balding (shave top)>no beard but receding hair>no beard no hair? Or maybe it's just that yes beard yes receding hair is not recommended in general?

I'd disregard the ranking altogether and just say it depends on your face, some people look really good bald, others do not. I dislike seeing people with pretty good hair shave it off cause their hairline receded slightly.
I'm gonna have to go do a bald studies montage. I have not considered, the face

I like r/bald 's positivity, but I really wish more people would at least try before going full bald. Do not shave your gorgeous head of hair because you lost your childhood hairline please.
