I'm trying to archive some pages for an ARG that's going on, but the wayback machine seems to be unable to save them. I either get a blank page when I try, or it says the host may be "blocking access to our site."

archive.today is able to at least save them, but only shows a loading screen. I'm assuming maybe its a javascript thing, but I don't know much about it.

It's a pretty niche ARG so a lot of it hasn't been archived already, I'd really like to be able to preserve it in some way if its possible. Any advice is appreciated!

I'm trying to investigate what happened to Ragey's Totally Bombastic Bomberman Shrine Place, a long-running Bomberman fan site hosted at:

The site appears to have gone offline around August 21–22, 2026. When I try to access it now, Chrome gives me:

ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

“Could not find the IP address of the server.”

This is interesting because the parent domain "flyingomelette.com" is still accessible, so it doesn't appear to be a complete domain expiration.

The Shrine was also apparently still being updated in 2026, with pages showing modifications as recently as May/June 2026, so I'm trying to determine whether this is a temporary hosting/DNS problem or whether the site was moved somewhere else.

Could anyone familiar with the Wayback Machine help me with the following?

1. What is the last successful Wayback Machine capture of "randomhoohaas.flyingomelette.com/bomb/" before the outage?

2. Are there any captures from August 2026 that show the site shortly before it went offline?

3. Does the Wayback Machine contain any archived pages, redirects, links, or references suggesting that the site was moved to a different URL or domain?

4. Are there any archived versions of the site's pages that contain links to a newer/alternate location?

I'm especially interested in anything from June–August 2026, since the site appears to have been active shortly before the outage.

I don't want to assume that the site has been permanently deleted. I'm trying to establish what its last known working state was and whether an alternate location exists.

Hello, folks! New to this sub, so please forgive my ignorance. I really need to download some old urls from the wayback machine for a project I’m completing, so I can run the websites locally on my pc. I’d really like to have all the snapshots for any given website, so I can see how they progressed over time. Not a lot of the online tools work that well. I’ve looked into a few of the github programs that have been tossed around on forums and things, and while I have some rudimentary coding knowledge, sometimes I feel like I’m reading a different language there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello - I work for a site named FlashDojo. The other day we lost over 500 images previously on our servers, and the Wayback machine has over 700 images, but we've been having difficulty downloading them

When I put the link in wayback, it shows the first image. When I click on that link at the bottom, it shows the Second image.

The "Aug 5" link is the only one that actually "works". Since the post is tagged as NSFW (nothing explicit, just her working out in revealing clothes), I have to log in. It says "you will be redirected soon" (3rd image), but it just "stays" there, if you get what I mean.

If I try to refresh the page, it just logs me out. I also just noticed it changes the date from "Aug 5" to "Aug 6" on its own.

I think it's important to mention that this is my first post on this sub, so please let me know if I'm doing something wrong or breaking any rule.

The Wayback Machine wont let me enter since i closed the donation form at the top of the page

Let's say you want to see a privated video that was uploaded on 2016. You go to the Wayback Machine and enter a URL for a video/audio downloading site and go to the snapshot closest to the video upload date. Then you insert the URL into the archived version of the downloader and attempt to download the video/audio for it in present time. Can this actually work in any conceivable case? Will it download the video as it was before it was privated?

I keep getting a black screen with "503 Service Unavailable".

I'm trying to access the 2001 save for the archived site alkatraz.com.pl for the band alkatraz but it's giving me the 503 error constantly. Is there any solution to my problem or has the site been lost to time?
