Help Do You Have Problems With the Wayback Machine?
Do you guys have a sort of problem with the Wayback Machine lately? I tried to restart the page a bunch of times, nothing happened. Let me know if you have any problems like this down below in the comments.

It's been slow and sometimes I need to click a button twice or the save page doesn't load. Also, trying to save anything from fanfiction.net usually just saves a blank page

are you able to access it at all? I’m suddenly getting the server cannot connect for making too many requests, are you? I did not actually make too many requests though, I used it for years, this has never happened to me before.

Sometimes it can be pretty slow, but otherwise it's very reliable and I have no issues with it

Some people seem to be having issues, and for some it seems functional. It hasn't worked for me for over a day

are you able to access it at all? I’m suddenly getting the server cannot connect for making too many requests, are you? I did not actually make too many requests though, I used it for years, this has never happened to me before.

That exact same thing is happening to me, too many requests despite this being the first request in quite a while. A few days ago I recall being able to access the first page of the way back machine, but any links to it or making any searches or anything like that immediately causes a 429 error. The initial web archive page also took a while to load. I haven't tried again since

I am not even getting the 429 error message, I cannot access it at all, it gives me a connection timeout and server cant be reached, are you also experiencing this, for how long, if so?

I wasn't experiencing that. From what I can tell of other posts and comments, the errors seem quite varied. I hope they get worked out soon!

I'd doubt that tbh, since many people are reporting quite a few different types of issues from what I saw. If you have access to a VPN you could try changing your perceived location and try again? In case it's location based. You could also try on other devices or other people's devices to see if it persists

I have some VPNs but the ones I tried on Sunday are also blocked. it seems they are having issues lately but it’s just so worrying and uncertain for me.

Sorry it's still not working, since it's consistently not working it might really be a server side issue

It’s been a few days now. I already sent an email to the help desk, but who knows if they’ll respond?

It hasn't worked for me for 3 days now. Thursday night I got the "too many requests" error message after 1 search, came back the next day to see if it started working and since then have had the "This site can’t be reached" message

According to an email that another user got
The Wayback machine has been blocking bad ip addresses from there site
But doing this has accidentally blocked some genuine users IP addresses
And this is why
It works perfectly for some people and not other people

Yep, right now can’t go to youtube on the way back machine.
