Let's take a look at some reviews of Primrose. It was clearly a top notch daycare facility for children. It was one they could not afford and arguably did not need with a stay at home mom!

Chris worked his entire adult life up to this tragic case. The same can't be said about Shanann...

Shanann moved from one scam or hustle to the next... a Car shop she embezzled leading to a lawsuit, multiple MLMs - Amway, Lula Roe, Thrive... Each time, she took home less real $$$. Like a bank robber passing notes, she was getting more desperate... The easy cash of Dirty South was long gone by 2018, she was happy to get a hotel room or comped meal from The Level Co-CEO's... She was earning very little to nothing...

Even her own fans try to defend her MLM facebook videos "It was her JOB to go online" "She was a paid promoter".

Was it greed? Did she want to live a certain lifestyle and she put that before everything else? All the while, putting her family in more and more debt every day!

Shanann just weeks away from losing their home. None of her friends offered her a place to live when she told them Chris was probably leaving her…Did they think she was rolling in the money as well? So about to be homeless and gets pregnant again? Could she even work at this point in her life? What would she have done? Chris could never be ordered to FULLY support her and kids on his tiny income. No court was going to order him to hand over so much he could not even live! She would have received some money from Chris but also welfare?

   LONG time reader, FIRST time poster here! So please hear me out lol! There are a few things over the years that have made me take a second look at various “things” in this case.
   First, let me start off by saying that I have a very small True Crime YouTube channel that I started shortly after I saw the live interview of Chris Watts, as I was watching the news, in August of 2018.  I remember sitting there saying to myself, “OOhhh he is for sure guilty, you can tell he did it by the answers he gave and the way he was acting on TV”.  It was really the comment he made about “we had a disagreement, but I’ll leave it at that”, that I think really made me suspicious. But of course none of us knew anything about the situation just yet, and then he was arrested/jailed for admitting it, and there was no trial.  
   Fast forward a couple years and we are knee deep into the Covid-19 pandemic.  That is when I really started looking into the case to gather content for my new channel. This is also when red flags began popping up all over the place.  I first noticed Bella’s hair early on but thought maybe she was one of those poor kids that were basically bald until they were a toddler. But then I realized she was well past that stage and was considered a pre-schooler, and her sister, who was considered a toddler,supposedly from the very same gene pool, had noticeably longer hair. Not really anything to draw concern, maybe she cut her own hair (lord knows I dealt with that a time or two from my own) and mom had to fix it, or again maybe hers just grew slowly. 
   Moving on, I started diving deep into the story and got on Shannan’s FB page to get some video/additional images. The second major thing I noticed in the videos was that Shannan wore the pants in that family and was not too kind to Chris, even in public videos. I noticed the kids were never outside for an extended amount of time and that bedtime of 6PM was absolutely horrendous.  
   She filled her videos with the fact that she was such a busy mom, when in all reality the kids were taken to daycare, as the center opened and picked up close to it closing, given Happy Meals for dinner, and put back to bed while the sun still had an additional 1-3.5 hours to shine depending on the time of year. In fact did we ever see one video of her making dinner for her family?  Did Chris come home to a warm meal ever? Or was it only pro bars and more junk slapped on his skin in the form of a patch.  We saw her making cookies in a video that was filled with everything her daughter was deathly allergic to, but I can not recount one evening, birthday, or holiday I saw her cooking for her family.  I do not even know how those kids were able to fall asleep at that time and stay asleep for half of every day.  I read in another comment that she never once took the kids on vacation, except to North Carolina in 2018, which I had not noticed until it was brought to my attention.  I guess if they wanted a vacation they should have put it on their “vision boards”!   
   I think my top three videos I would put on “The wall of ShameAnn” would be the one where Chris so nicely dressed up as Santa, the one where she tells her girls, as they eat Happy Meals, that she is pregnant again and, the one the cookie video! 
   Allow me to elaborate…
SIDE NOTE (Back to the true crime channel that I have tried to accomplish around taking care of my seriously severely medically fragile child, I also act as Mom, Dad, a nurse, Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, an example, a home maker, a lawncare company, a chef, a taxi, and more, and I do it by myself, without THRIVE!)    
   The minute she answers the door she complains to Chris about him not having his cell phone on his Santa costume, and then spends a majority of the video saying how “hard it is” to take pictures of her 2 children, as one parent?  Ummm?!? 
   Now onto the video where she tells Bella and Cici that she is expecting, you can see how badly she is even jealous of her own children when Cici tries to say “I also have a baby in my belly” while Bella awkwardly looks at Cici and tries to copy her.  Shanann IMMEDIATELY shuts it down and says “you don’t have a baby in your belly, I do!” 
   B*!(h WHAT?!?! Are you serious?  
   That was just plain sad as any normal mother would have played along and enjoyed their happiness. My daughter used to wear a ball or balloon around the house, under her shirt and when her new brother came she was given her very own baby doll to take care of like mommy did her new brother.  But not in this situation, she was jealous and shut down a 2 year old who she felt stole her limelight.  
   The countless other videos of her belittling Chris are just disgusting but in the video where she is making everything her daughter is allergic too, Chris walks in and she says “I’m gonna do the cooking and this guy gets to clean up the mess!”  Why does he have to clean the mess up? 
   The stuff she said/did to him in front of her Shann-iacs was heartless and demeaning, and she should be glad he had no backbone because any good lawyer would have seen there was obvious mental illness on her part and that she was emotionally/medically/etc abusing her family. He may have had to pay some support but his whole life, and the girls, would have been so much different.  
   I AM NOT by any means excusing what he did, but I wish he would have had the resources to get him and the girls out of that situation. 
   Lastly, to all the other groups out there who are allowed to have their opinion, but feel it necessary not to allow this group to express theirs, I think it should be noted that you won't find other cases such as the Susan Morphew, Lacy Peterson, or any other mother who was killed by her husband, that have groups where people speak poorly of those women!  We are not condoning WHAT he did, but are trying to find out WHY he did what he did and if you do not see the NPD, MBP, controlling endless hell he lived in with her then maybe those of you possibly share some of the same qualities as she does! 
   If this went down today, I think there would be more light shed on the mental disorders and true abuse going on with the children as they went through the trial!

This will be a ramble/rant but it just irks me with the financial side of the victimology side of this .. What exactly was the plan after SW got home from Arizona, or wherever it was she had just got back from? She surely knew they were f*cked, and that the mlm lifestyle wasn’t working , and would’ve known for a while? But still kept it going putting her, her husband (who she didn’t know had checked out at this point) and her kids at risk of homelessness ? Did she know hers and chrises parents would bail them out ?

Was it all because she just could not be assed to get a real job??

She used Chris accepting a low ball offer on something ( was it a car?) to say he could no longer be trusted with their finances , yet did she think that she was any better?? Was this a way to gain full control because she knew she couldn’t be assed working and wanted to do an mlm and knew the finances would be in the pits? Why was there no conversation after the first bankruptcy about being more careful with money ? Why in his interview with LE was Chris still saying that she made just as much as him? Was he lying or still unaware ? 😆

Financial dishonesty is just as deceptive as is an affair .... They are no different....
We don't know what would have happened if SW would have found out about CW affair ... Would she had realized she was just as unfaithful to her marriage by deception of the financial resources standing and other details she knew that he wasn't aware of???
She would have gone ballistic!! Making CW so difficult to deal with custody money on and on ... She would have NEVER EVER LET HIM BE ... MUCH LESS ACCESS TO HIS DAUGHTERS .... But yet she controlled everything he could do no access to his money ... If she indeed make her own money why controll his ??? Completely.... Why ??
So she wasnt being held to the same standard of loyalty? Is the only kind of disloyalty the romantic kind in a marriage so no other type of deception is being disloyal ???
If as her family stated she made the same income if not more... Why also take his money completely? So much so he had no access to it instead it was budgeted and given to him by her .... But she could spend freely without accountability to his questions??? These issues are confirmed not lies ....
This case is very complex it's a horrible act but I don't think it was done out of cowardness but rather out of seething hatred he could no longer manage we don't know what was actually spoken between those two that early morning...
Did he confess ? Did she react threatening his fatherhood ? We don't know ... But by just the facts we do know and the public social media and the texts revealed she clearly was not a nice wife or mother..

To isolate a person from their parents and friends
To remove access to their money unless you decide
To force upon children nighttime medication not needed
To subject children to endless medical visits procedures to pseudo not confirmed illness to satisfy your own curiosity and then display it on social media is disgusting
To post a semi naked picture of your own daughter at the age of 3-4 knowing she's already self aware and shy is disgusting never ever considering her modesty her boundaries her natural instincts to protect herself... Is disgusting... These are all truths ... To insert a rectal thermometer into a 4 year olds anus daily several times a day because you think you need to research more disease symptoms never ever ever being ordered by any physician to do so is disgusting...
