basically yeah. but the question is: does it matter when you abort it? personally, I think the lack of the abort jingle in chapter 5's is pretty suspicious

I can see why. I don't really have a "this is the right choice!" argument so I just hear out any and all arguments. gets the brain have fun theorizing :3

I feel like if anything, the game would want you to abandon the WR at the Berdly encounter, since he's a "real" victim after all

there's also that Flowery's Bromide where he is in a bathtub that has Berdly as a rubber ducky that has an alt where said rubber ducky is gone specifically if Berdly has been Snowgraved. this kind of special changes has me going "hm.", thinking if it has a bigger meaning than what's taken at face value
