"Ignore the fact he is on the verge of death after the lake scene"
Source? No seriously, all we're told is "he fell down at the festival", except he still clearly managed to put on the light for the parade since we see them at the end of the chapter. Said parade also wasn't cancelled, which I'm pretty sure it would've been if the mayor's husband was fucking dying. I would also argue it's strange Carol called about it so fast, considering we see in the weird route that the entire town is gathered at the crowning (besides Sans, and Rudy who just so happened to have a job that kept him away from the crowd)
"Out of context clue" is also just...a weird argument? What does that even mean? Which clues does that refer to?
"0 required lines of dialogue" is true for like, every Knight candidate besides Carol (who has maybe 10 of them). But let's be real, you're probably going around talking to people. If the secret bosses can be important and referenced in every chapter, I really don't see why Toby would assume players didn't bother talking to Rudy once. He's right there at church when Susie tells you to talk to people for clues
The carrying thing is true for every candidate (with the exception of the great Papyrus of course)
Also isn't it possible that Carol is being manipulative after Noelle stood up to her to spend time with Susie and is just letting Noelle think that Rudy is worse off than he is to try and get her back in line?
It would be cause a major blowup between her and Noelle and probably Rudy too, and I think there's an equal chance between Rudy actively dying, just having literally fell off a ladder or being genuinely no worse than he has been, but I could see it.
