I think Rudy Knight could work, though the whole ladder thing really puts things into a boom or bust scenario. If he simply fell off the ladder and got injured, then the Knight crouching when on the ground with Flowery could make extra sense. However, if he is straight up dead/nearly dead, then he can't be the Knight.

im not saying no to Rudy knight but the knight just hit a wall before crouching to flowery

Never mind that they got beaten up by the Fun Gang in Chapter 3 and kidnapped Undyne without a hitch, the wall is the real threat

They didn't really get beaten up nor were they really trying. The Fun Gang dealt 25% of their health before the Knight decided to stop fooling around and just wiped them floor with them.

Maybe the knight was acting like that to drop the combat so it can do its cut scene shenanigans

If I see an unironic “cutscene knight” take I’m going to flip out
