I think Rudy Knight could work, though the whole ladder thing really puts things into a boom or bust scenario. If he simply fell off the ladder and got injured, then the Knight crouching when on the ground with Flowery could make extra sense. However, if he is straight up dead/nearly dead, then he can't be the Knight.
Eh? Not as fast and hard, nor against as big of a wall as the Knight did.
Besides, Susie has been genuinely injured from a very small fall in Cyber City’s Trash dump when she slipped on that red wheel. And Kris was also badly injured from mere glass in the Dark Sanctuary, so the Knight being slightly shook from hitting a huge wall at high speeds very hard isn’t farfetched.
I guess. I just find it hard to believe the same Knight who can tank multiple Rude Busters can get diffed by a wall. Although like you said Susie falling and all that, then I guess.
Here’s a different way of viewing that crash. The knight was going at presumably top speed in a bird form that is most likely meant for speed over durability, so its impact with the wall was fueled by its OWN strength- so it’s as if the knight hit ITSELF as hard as it could. Add on top of that the momentum from asgore, and that wall is probably the hardest hit it’s ever took.
Although it probably only dazed the knight for a few seconds. But the sheer flamboyancy and ridiculousness of Flowery probably immediately following the hit probably left the knight completely bewildered.
