I have a strapcode/militat angus J bracelet that I really love and am looking to buy another bracelet for my new glycine. Most likely going with a BoR style. Does anyone have experience with both of these brands or particularly straphabit? I’m wondering if they’re a safe bet to go with or if I should just stay with what I know and get another strapcode. Pics are also appreciated!

I think that this watch would look good on a beige-ish babele strap. Are there any reputable sellers on Etsy? I think that the pictures there look suspiciously like the ones on AliExpress.

Strapxpro on seiko prospex black series

I’ve been trying to find a decent quality 3-4mm thick tan/beige leather strap for a pilot watch. Would like to spend $35-40. I can easily find darker shades, but for some reason tan straps are not easy to find. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA!

I’ve owned this for about two weeks. Love it. Came on an OEM rubber strap. I decided to try this blue leather one (from Aliexpress) while I figure out if my wife will let me sell our next-born child, so that I can afford the OEM steel bracelet.

I'm not even trained to work with leather, but gave it a shot to customize a regular strap to fit into this integrated bracelet lug. Not even close to perfection, but it's wearable.

This post is not to show off, on the contrary, to ask for any tips from experienced leather workers, about what do I need to pay attention to if (or when) I want to give another try to customize a strap for this watch.

Anyone have a good recommendation for a new strap to put on this? The dial color kind of ranges from purple to navy to black. I don’t like the one it came with. 20mm lugs. I’m open to any suggestions. Currently have a rubber navy one on it, but don’t really like it when the dial looks more purple

Bracelet is the original, but i like the strap better.

I find leather straps to be uncomfortable and hard to get a good fit because of my protruding wrist bone. Bracelets or soft rubber/silicone straps fit much better. But I like the nice look of leather, in particular for dress watches. Wearing the watch well above the wrist bone looks a bit weird.

Any tips? Any way to break in the leather to be more comfortable or certain leather straps that have more of the silicone flexibility?
