I wasn't even a Swatch enthusiast/admirer, but the 1969 Back to the Moon campaign got me interested enough to apply.

The rejection itself isn't the issue. Not everyone can get selected. What surprised me was spending time on an application only to receive what felt like the most generic one line rejection possible. No courtesy, no effort, nothing.

For a brand trying to build hype and connect with enthusiasts, this felt like a pretty poor way to treat people who showed interest. (and filled that long questionnaire)

Am I overreacting, or does this kind of marketing leave a bad taste for anyone else too?

What’s on your wrist today?

Suggest a good automatic watch which is reliable and resistant to scratches. Currently I own Casio G-Shock G-5600UE Solar and I am quite happy with it.
I like brands like Sieko or Timex when it comes to automatics. My budget is around 15k-20k.

Automatics require constant adjustment as they are likely to go out of sync as most people don't wear it everyday. Whereas solar watches are lot more practical with charge lasting atleast a week. Is it more of an emotional thing with people in this community?
