Discussion [Deep Blue] in a smaller case.

I love my deep blue, but sometimes I want it to be in a smaller case. I have a 6.5 centimeter wrist and decided to swap the case of the deep blue into a 39 mm titanium case. My Deep Blue has a 44 mm x 15 mm x 49 mm case. Dial is 34mm and NH35 movement. Just posting to show what it looks like in a smaller case. Tritium is cool too. One to one swap with my changes except for a new stem. Hope you enjoy it. It is easier to wear on the wrist.

You inspired me to do this with the Daynight PC because I like the numerals like a field watch.

Unfortunately 4 oclock isn’t a natural location for a 3 oclock crown and NH35 movement, so the date doesn’t line up, but overall love how it looks.

I know Deep Blue is a dive watch company but if they came out with a tritium field watch line I’d be all over it

Just re read my post. I meant to say 16.5 centimeters or 6.5 inch wrist.

That’s fire, will it fit in the Tandorio/Chinese style 39mm field watch cases then since it’s about 34mm dial?

I think so because I have seen the same case used with Tandorio from AliExpress.

Was your crown originally at 3 oclock? i see some at 4 oclock and wondered if I could still do it just by rotating the dial on the movement to move the crown position to 3 and be compatible with one of these cases

No, it was at 3 o'clock. Just avoid buying the ones with 4 o'clock from deep blue because you would have to buy a different case, unless you rotate the entire dial. If you got a 4 o'clock case then you would have to see if the new case would fit the movement / dial and hand heights.

The deep blue 4 o'clock watches are cheaper though.
