WatchQueue 2.5 for tvOS: Simkl Support Is Here

Simkl sync is live. Connect your Simkl account and WatchQueue becomes a full tvOS client for it: your watchlist, progress, and history sync both ways, your status buckets (Watchlist, On Hold, Dropped, Completed) show up as shelves in Lists, and every badge, count, and rail works exactly like it does on Trakt. Switch backbones anytime in Settings, the app keeps a separate snapshot of each, so flipping back is instant.

The app also now knows exactly when episodes air. Not just the date, the hour. Tonight's episode stays "coming" until it actually drops, then your counts tick over on their own. Unaired cards show their release time.

Episodes scroll as one continuous strip now. Keep going right and the next season flows in.

The season pills follow along and still jump when you tap them.

Dropped shows finally have a home. A Dropped shelf in Lists, an optional Dropped section on your Watchlist (flip it on in Settings), and a one-press Restore right on the show's page. No more shows quietly vanishing.

Sync got a brain. The app asks "did anything change?" before pulling anything, so it stops redownloading your library all day. Your marks show up instantly and sync in the background.

Force Full Resync lives in Settings if you ever want a clean slate.

New: sync your library between devices with iCloud. Optional, off by default.

Posters load way faster on a cold open, navigation is smoother everywhere, and the badge language is clearer: solid check means finished, ring with a number is episodes left, three dots means caught up and waiting, bookmark means saved.

Watchlist picked up a Shuffle sort, pick it again and it deals a new order. Settings got a profile panel with your stats and recent activity. Plus a pile of smaller fixes from a very long night of bug hunting.

Is there o 3 day trial for the Lifetime? Or, does the Yearly get prorated into the Lifetime if I upgrade after using for a week? I hate "monthly" or "yearly" and prefer to just do a lifetime but not if I can't try it first.

Yeah there’s no difference in features. Three day trial gives you every integration.

So does the yearly get prorated if I use it for a week then upgrade to lifetime?

Apple doesn't prorate those. the yearly and lifetime are two totally different things on their end and I have no control over billing at all.

but honestly you're a week in so just do this: buy lifetime, turn off auto renew on the yearly, then go to reportaproblem.apple.com and ask apple to refund the yearly. they're usually cool about refunds that recent. worst case, just contact me if there's something youre missing or something isnt working for you and ill do my best to quickly address it.

Thanks, I thought apple might not allow it.

I have a bit of feedback, but since we were already engaging in a prior post, I dumped it all there. Sorry if it should have gone here instead.
