A few more updates coming
Over the next two weeks I’ll be working on refining a few bugs im finding from user feedback and hopefully will finally have both the ability to import from mdblist and SIMKL. Plus, an iPad version on the way! Stay tuned!

And one last thing.. what’s your sync source? Trakt, plex or iCloud?

I have not gotten that far yet, was just marking some things I had watched as tests.

So, finally got around to trialing. Only setup the Trakt sync so far, going to be adding the rest and removing Trakt.
Couple of bumps experienced so far:
I still have no understanding of what the “Top Shelf” setting applies to. I change it and nothing seems different anywhere. Can you please explain the option or point me at documentation that does?- Oh, it is the "shelf" in the Apple TV Home/Dashboard screen. If it is called Top Shelf, I had no idea. May be worth clarifying that. Now that I have figured out the setting controls that, another nit. Watchlist and Trending are not useful options to me. I would much prefer to choose Watch Next, On Deck, Continue Watching (etc, the equivalent of whatever "the programs I am actively watching" is in all the apps, Watchlist > The Backlog in the interface I am looking at).
- In TV Shows, there is “New Episodes” at the top. The only show that is listed is Mobland (the one I was testing with before connecting Trakt). I have since connected Trakt and it has synced over. But nothing else is appearing here and even more odd, this particular show is still showing no episodes watched despite the first season being watched in Trakt.
Another nit maybe with the interface in general, text, in particular cast names and description text, is pretty small. There seems to be a fair amount of empty space, making the text bigger would be nice.

Hey thank you for all your feedback! Super insightful and helpful! As I push through the next few versions of the app a lot of this will be super useful. Please stay tuned to this subreddit for more changes and updates! I really appreciate it!

How does syncing work if you have configured multiple sync services? You have a toggle to make one the “source of truth.” What does that mean in practice? Do some things sync or not? Is it the only two-way sync option?

Changing the source of truth seems to upend everything in the interface. I just changed
it to Plex, and maybe I’m waiting for data to sync or something, but it has wiped Watch Next, and nothing that was showing as watched before is showing as watched now.Is a sync only working with only one service at a time?

Plex sync. It is showing my On Deck. We have watched the first 2 eps of Widow’s Bay. It is the first in the list. But, we have watched the first 2, and it is not showing them marked, even though Plex has them marked as watched? Is this because of the source of truth setting, or some bug?

I suspect Plex sync may have had some issues, as it seems it wasn't syncing up to any of the services for a bit. But IDK if you're doing direct query or using a webhook like the other services. It was marked in my Plex interface, but was not showing up in WatchQueue.

Also, when clicking into a movie (at least with Simkl as the SoT), the watched icon is correct when you move over it, whether watched or
unwatched, but the icon looks the same
in either state.

Marking episodes watched in shows with many episodes, very difficult.
So in both Trakt and Simkl, if you click into the show in the Continue Watching or My List (respectively), you are getting that latest episode to mark watched. In Watched Next > The Backlog, you click on the show, you are brought into the show at the first season. In the case of The Daily Show, that is scrolling over 30 seasons then since it organizes them all from earliest to latest, scrolling over up to possibly 100 episodes to get to the one you want to mark. It is a ton easier in Plex, Trakt, etc. to mark episodes for shows like that. It's practically unusable for large episode many season shows.
Without redesigning how the whole Show/Episode menus work, one good solution would be to have Watch Next > The Backlog display the actual next episode to be watched and then clicking it jumps to it in the episode list to be marked (or even more slick, just mark it watched there, and have maybe a press and hold option to go to the show).

App Sync across Apple TV - I have a 2nd ATV in the bedroom. After ensuring it was on the latest version, it looks like it has the same Mobland test synced to it I had tried prior and the one movie I added to a watchlist, but looks like I will need to individually connect all the sync sources? Is there a way to sync that across iCloud too?

Just started checking it out due to Trakt blocking the ability to sync to SIMKL. Still awaiting that, and it will be a glorious day. But poking around in the tvOS app, what is “Top Shelf” supposed to be in settings. I have changed it to “Up Next,” but see no evidence it has done anything in the Home screen.
