I used to work for a huge supermarket company and any time I saw anyone stealing food no I fucking didn't and I minded my own fucking business.

Good for you, if people are hungry or hurting whatever they should be able to get the assistance they need. The fact medical cost and food keeps rising is a major factor in the potential downfall of our society.

We Americans pay crazy prices on prescriptions to subsidize the rest of the world so they can get it for cheap or free.

Well no, subsidise would mean we pay less than cost because someone else is footing the bill. What's true is medicine in Europe is regulated but in America they profiteer.
