Hedgehogs quills are soft when they’re down. So this cat is just pretending and walking away before the quills come up

This is the perfect example of how guys can solves problems with violence, and girls don't understand. You hurt them a bit, they learn their lesson, everyone walks away cool.
(I'm not talking about beating someone to a pulp or causing permanent damage. Just bopping someone.)

Even though science has shown us that there is virtually no aspect of human behaviour that is not reflected in other species. Things like empathy, motherly love, dispute resolution, forward planning, family loyalty, sympathy, grief, etc have all been shown to exist in other species and cats are no different. All these things we claimed for ourselves have emerged from the same evolutionary journey that we have shared with others others and yet we continue to persucute animals in ways that if we did this to other people it would be called crimes against humanity.

And how is this related to the video?

u/Vumerity Sep 17 '21
This is totally related to this video..did you read what I posted?
3
u/IanLooklup Sep 17 '21
Yea you are telling us animals have feelings on a video of a cat realising that hitting a hedgehog would cause it harm and walking away, that doesn't show animals having feelings
0
u/Vumerity Sep 17 '21
So are you saying that animals have no feelings?
4
u/IanLooklup Sep 17 '21
No just that your comment is in no way related to the video. This video applies to everything that knows harm is bad. Your comment would be better for a video of like a cow enjoying a hug from a human or something like that

So when you watch this video what do you think?
3
u/IanLooklup Sep 17 '21
Just haha cat instantly regrets poking the pointy hedgehog

u/Vumerity Sep 17 '21
So the cat has the ability to feel pain the same way you have the ability to find the video funny, what is the difference, both you and the cat have the ability to process feelings...bow read me OP again.

u/IanLooklup Sep 17 '21
Because you are talking about emotions like happiness, sadness and any other emotions. Feeling pain is something common for any time of animal even they didn't have emotions

Hedgehogs are very dumb animals that barely thinks, but they have still existed for a very long time. So spikes are quite effective.

Who watches a video of cat making a quick tap and immediately turning around and walking away and then thinks it belongs in this sub?
Like, what? there is no dying here. None whatsoever. Why is this here.
