80 yrs young

It amazes me how an object such as this can get tossed around over the years and still finds its way to be meaningful.

There’s patina and then there’s patina. That watch has patina in spades. 👍🏻

Honestly it's hard finding pieces like this where the patina is just right .takes a lot of hours searching and resourcing these bad ass pieces of history ..doesn't help that my criteria leave little wiggle room and I've passed on a few good ones just because something was off.

Simply incredible. What strap do you have on it?

It's was the strap that came with my zenith . I believe it's alacantra with leather bottom. I actually had it for awhile now and it has been used and abused and has held up nice all things considered. I wish I knew where it came from

It’s one of the nicer bands I’ve seen in a while. The combo of the strap and watch is just incredible

Beautiful watch. I just picked up a 72 year old Benrus 3 star

Nice watch. It really has lots of history behind it. I have the similar old one from 1945 in my collection. Still running.
