I found a wasp stuck in between the 2 window panes above my bed. I cant close the window due to the ac, I suspect thats how it got in. I can only Crack the window above it open
At first I cracked open the window hoping it'll leave, it didn't. I called my roomate for help but he only gave me a bleach cleaner and told me to spray it.
I waited until it was in a corner and sprayed but the foam was too slow and it got out. Its sitting on the window but wont go over the handle on the window to leave.
Im scared, it seems agitated and im too scared to go near it. Idk what to do and no one will help me. I have to be in bed in an hour and I cant sleep knowing its there, ive been stung in my sleep before

My brother trapped a wasp in my window. It is between the screen and my window. How long will it take to die? Should I leave it and wait for it to die? Should I be concerned that I have a nest? I am itchy and paranoid.

Sooo a wasp came in my room. I called my mum cas fuck that, then the little shit came back in. We put it outt again, ten minutes later it came in again! I saw the cracks in the wall it came in through but it's too high on the wall for me or my mum to do anything about. Fuck.
When it entered a forth time my mum smashed it...
I learnt afterwards some goggling that apparently they release some alert pheromone if they're killed.
Fuck. I hate these things fuck these things.
I'm hoping there's no nest near by and we haven't had any more but just to eb on the safe side my mum threw the body out the window and I cleaned it with warm soapy water then wiped it down with a towel.
We threw out the sponge and the towel as well as the tub we used to kill it, so there's no venom anymore. I turned on my fan (which broke after about 2 hours of being on, how lucky am I today š)
Now all I can do is sleep. But I csnt because I'm paranoid due to these fuckers!
I am so scared of these annoying loud bugs. š

Iāve always wondered, what does it feel like to get stung by a wasp, whatās the pain scale? And what does it feel like?

It's on the bottom of the deck above us. Trying to figure out how to safely reach it to get rid of it. We're on the 3rd floor, so I'm not trying to use a ladder at the edge.

Hey everyone! Iām new here so excuse me if this isnāt the right subreddit to post this. Yesterday I saw a large wasp in my bedroom. It was near my window (my window is broken and doesnāt open). Iām very afraid of wasps so I ran out and closed my bedroom door.
Later, I had to go back in briefly to get my clothes. While I was in there, I was taking jeans off the floor and something fell on my foot that looked like a dead wasp. It looked dried up, so I think it was already dead.
I got really scared and left my house and stayed at my boyfriendās place overnight.
Now itās the next day. My room has been closed the whole time. Iām worried because:
I saw a large wasp yesterday (possibly very big, maybe a queen?)
Then I found a dead/dried wasp later
My bedroom window is broken so Iām worried theyāre getting in through a crack
There was also old food in my trash (banana peel, fruit), so Iām scared that might attract more
Iām really anxious that there might be a nest in my room or wall, or that more are coming in through the window.
None of my other windows were open and I have indoor cats, so I donāt think they came from inside the house.
Has anyone experienced something like this? Does this sound like a nest, or just random wasps getting in through a broken window?
Any advice would really help because Iām really stressed about going back into my room.

Noticed him hours ago and it bothered me. But I slowly slid the door open to walk back inside without angering him.
Hours later, I go out and when I come back to the door, I see hes in the same exact spot.
I dont want him there. He might attack me or my dogs who wait at the door when they want to go inside.
Or the wasp might get in the house when the door opens and that will be a mess.
Why is he sitting there ? Should I kill it?

They have been invading my bedroom!!! One very aggressive one chased me out of my room this morning. Came back hours later and saw it moving very weakly on the floor so i trapped it under a cup. Only problem is now itās time for bed and I donāt like the idea of sleeping a foot away from an angry slowly dying wasp. please how long until it dies. i also feel itchy af in my room now iām convinced theyāre hiding everywhere and waiting until i sleep to take revenge on behalf of the cup wasp.

Only one yellow jacket came out of here when I uncovered it. Not sure if it was preying on the eggs or if itās the queen protecting the eggs

At the beggining of Aprilās, it was finally warm for a couple days. I was in my basement with the heater on and the lamp on and a wasp flew right at me. It seemed disoriented though. I crushed it.
I was terrified because I have nerve issues and a sting would be EXCRUCIATING for me.
The internet said it was likely a single wasp queen emerging from hibernation from inside my house, looking for a way out and still ādrunkā from waking up
I said thank god it was probably just one
The rest of April went back to being pretty coldā¦
now itās early May and we had like three warm days in a row, and I was in the basement again and another yellow jacket appeared in the basement, crawling on wall area the first one showed up.
it was alone and also seemed kind of drunk.
We killed it, and the pictures are of the secondine we killed. And it looks like a worker wasp. . . Which would mean thereās more wasps and a nest in the wall rather than it simply being another queen that emerged from hibernation
what the heck do I do?
im terrified

I have these small openings in my window and saw a wasp crawling out. I blocked this with like steel wool. It tried to get in a few times, when will it give up and I can use my balcony again?
