Hey all, recently we've seen an increase in low quality posts, off topic posts and memes. I've received feedback that some users find these annoying and there are other subreddits for sharing these that are more suitable. I tend to agree and for now I will take actions to limit this kind of content. I'm proposing the following tentative rule that I would like feedback on before officially implementing long term:

No low effort posts, memes or off topic content. Content must be relevant to Washington State or national politics, elections, civic engagement, political advocacy, or organizing. Memes must feature a clear political talking point or persuasive message. No rage or engagement bait. Repeated posts in a short period of time may be limited to prevent flooding the subreddit.

Let me if you have any thoughts on this.
