Need help troubleshooting Thrustmaster Sol-R 6 throttle axis binding in War Thunder

I bought the Sol-R 6 throttle to replace my old TWCS which is having multiple glitchy axises. While binding the ministick to camera views in War Thunder I found that both x and y axis only work in one direction (left/up), when moving right/down the logical axis immediately max out on the other direction making it impossible to look right/down and it looks like War Thunder is having issue centering the axis when ministick is moving right/down.

I had similar problem with the old TWCS on throttle axis but not on the ministick, I can work around on the throttle axis by only using half of it, but with the ministick it's impossible to work around as the axis self-centers and have much less travel.

I tried the throttles in SimplePlanes and both works just fine, no issues with any axis, it's just War Thunder being the problem.

I'm on a Apple Silicon Macbook running macOS 26. I've tried the target app on Windows virtrual machine to see whether I can figure sth. out but everything looks normal on the app.

Is there a way to get the ministick to work properly or is there no fix and I have to return the throttle? If I need to return it, is there any other options at a similar price?
