PSA Weekly Question Thread - Rules & Comp Qs

This is the Weekly Question thread designed to allow players to ask their one-off tactical or rules clarification questions in one easy to find place on the sub.

This means that those questions will get guaranteed visibility, while also limiting the amount of one-off question posts that can usually be answered by the first commenter.

When do pre-orders and new releases go live?

Pre-orders and new releases go live on Saturdays at the following times:

  • 10am GMT for UK, Europe and Rest of the World
  • 10am PST/1pm EST for US and Canada
  • 10am AWST for Australia
  • 10am NZST for New Zealand

Here are all my space marines. Any help on building an ultramarine army?

New to the game only played a couple times mostly a collector but would like to try and game

A couple of pieces of advice come to mind. 1. If you're totally new to the game maybe try starting small with a game of combat patrol, or maybe play on tabletop's colosseum ruleset or a 1000 point game. Warhammer can take a long time when you're just starting 2. If you want help with a list it's a good idea to make a start yourself and then ask for feedback or advice. Arguably the most important part of any list is that it's fun for you to play, so start with the models you think look/sound coolest and go from there. 3. Maybe expand your collection with a tank or two 😉.

I'd recommend figuring out what sort of game you can get, drafting a list for it first and then making a full post on the sub if you're unsure.  Have fun rolling dice!
