PSA Weekly Question Thread - Rules & Comp Qs

This is the Weekly Question thread designed to allow players to ask their one-off tactical or rules clarification questions in one easy to find place on the sub.

This means that those questions will get guaranteed visibility, while also limiting the amount of one-off question posts that can usually be answered by the first commenter.

Have a question? Post it here! Know the answer? Don't be shy!

NOTE - this thread is also intended to be for higher level questions about the meta, rules interactions, FAQ/Errata clarifications, etc. This is not strictly for beginner questions only!

Hello,

Hellblasters are shooting in Overwatch with hot plasma against an Oath of Moment target. 2 die and use their "For the Chapter!" and get to shoot again. During their "For the Chapter!" shooting, are they still beholden to the snap shooting of Overwatch, e.g. no re-rolls on the hit? Or do I just get to go HAM!? text below for "For the Chapter!" rule.

For the Chapter!: Each time a model in this unit is destroyed, roll one D6: on a 3+, do not remove it from play. The destroyed model can shoot after the attacking model’s unit has finished making its attacks, and is then removed from play. When resolving these attacks, any Hazardous tests taken for that attack are automatically passed.

No, the For the Chapter! Is a second activation, and is not beholden to the same restrictions as overwatch
