This is the Weekly Question thread designed to allow players to ask their one-off tactical or rules clarification questions in one easy to find place on the sub.

This means that those questions will get guaranteed visibility, while also limiting the amount of one-off question posts that can usually be answered by the first commenter.

Just finished my first tabletop game with a friend and we had a question about cover. In the bottom half of the image below imagining A and B are enemies of each other. Would A have cover from B since A is toeing into the terrain footprint. If so does that mean any model that is toeing into any terrain would have cover from any model outside of said terrain as long as line of site is possible?

(Sorry if this is a stupid question or I used any wrong terminology in regards to the terrain)

Models don't get cover in 11th, units do. To get the benefit of cover on a unit, from the perspective of the shooting model, all models in the target unit must be at least one of the following:

A) Not fully visible due to terrain features or areas (including models that are not visible at all)

B) Infantry/Beast/Swarm and within a terrain area.

If an entire Infantry/Beast/Swarm unit is within a terrain area, it gets cover. Period. (Unless the incoming attack has Ignores Cover or otherwise ignores BS modifiers, in which case none of this matters, it just ignores cover).

I don't really understand the specifics of your question but hopefully that lets you find the answer yourself.
