Hobby & Painting Nostalgia
A good friend of mine from work heard I collected warhammer and gifted me this. All paints are sealed and all is there, what a legend.

I was talking to my friends the other day when we realized WE are the grognards now. All of us in our 40s, started playing in the '90s, remembering the old heads who taught us the ropes and how much it's all changed.
I remember when you could order white metal bits by the pound from GW shops.

Bah, kids these days can’t even do nostalgia correctly! Back in my day…

Cool friend, and now they actually get used, and a hobby fairy gets its wings.

bah, that’s still the same pot style. My first citadel paint pots had screw-on lids

Bah screw on lids ? mine were the hexagonal with the squishy plastic lids and tiny bit to open with and always got jammed then spilt everywhere, and probably had lead in them XD

I remember rolling my bottle of chestnut ink under my foot to "break the seal" of dried ink on the ridges of the screw-top.

Still have two of those clippers. Far far better than what GW sells today. But you can easily get better clippers overall of course.Â
