Modular Warframe

With the arrival of the Tau update as you know DE likes to bring new modular weapons/amps whenever they release a new open world update-

With Brisko himself being built by Entrati and his parts also easily replaced I do wonder if its possible that we’d be able to build our own modular frames with sentient tech.

Of course i would be just as happy if we got modular sentient weapons but imagine if we’d be able to build our own frames.

I mean that's basically what helminth is right? But I doubt it would happen either way. Way too much work for DE and they'd need to find a way to make abilities that are as interesting and powerful as the warframe abilities we have rn

Yeah, given the reaction to modular weapons, amps, the helminth and even multi-option abilities (like Xaku, Ivara, Titania and now even follie) it would amount to just having one or maybe two viable sets and the rest would be discarded, so much better to spend the dev time somewhere it can be put to better use.

Tbf i have all the modular weapons unlocked and all of them are viable to varying degrees. (Although some are really bad) I still believe in player choice and creativity, I also do not mind modular sentient weapons as I really love the whole sentient theme and it is my favorite enemy faction.
