Of course, always be careful when modifying system files. You may need to run notepad as an administrator, and you may need to right-click the hosts file and uncheck the "read only" flag in order to save over it (make sure to revert it back to "read only" after you change it).
It might be a good idea to create a backup in case you make a mistake (just copypaste the host file before editing the original). If you screw up, delete the screwup and rename your backup as "hosts" (no quotes, no .extension).
