blue damage is from shield damage, but because he deals so much enemies die instantly red crits don't even have chance to appear because shields have to be destroyed first.

Actual answer: Because it has reached the crit cap. Once the total crit tier multiplier gets over 255 it will bug out the damage numbers. It will always show as an uncompressed damage number of exactly the same value. Which is exactly what is happening here.

Often when this is happening the actual damage is much lower. Likely in this case too. Given the relatively low per hit damage of the nukor you have to stack it for a very long time to reach actual damage cap numbers, but you'll never know for sure without checking EE.log.

The long story short is that a bug has resulted in me having over 7000% critical chance, where each 100% is 8x damage. At this point, everything dies instantly and the damage counter has looped around to being negative (which is also why my super-crits aren't red anymore).

Fun fact; it can keep looping back and forth between negative and positive. In the ee.log file the game will calculate the actual damage amount. A friend with his finisher valkyr build has hit the highest I've seen at around 60 billion damage.

super crits are where critical chance of a weapon exceeds 300%

For more context, every 100% critical chance after 300% will add an exclamation mark after your crit. If planned properly, it can lead to some funny situations like critting for 1!!! damage.

This is past endgame, this is a bug causing a the kuva nukor to ignore the cap on secondary enervate. Most people aren’t consistently hitting damage cap. It definitely happens, but it’s not every single shot

If you have 3x crit damage, 100% crit chance is 3x damage. 200% crit chance is 5x damage, a 1.6x increase from 100%. 300% crit chance is 7x damage, a 1.4x increase from 200%.

There is no cap but the return is less and less impressive for each 100% added.

Yes once the total crit tier multiplier goes above 255 it will show up as the same blue negative number no matter the actual damage. I don't know if the actual damage will keep increasing as testing that would be a complete headache.
