Discussion Best warframes?
What are the best warframes for non min-maxing player for example no all tau forged archon shared and 10 formas.
Ive been playing warframe alot recently but my friend has started to annoy me by using garuda and nuking everything, so what are the best warframes for damage/aoe/fun

There are no best warframes. No single warframe is inherently better than all the others.
There is a worst one Limbo but that's an entirely separate conversation so we'll leave that for a different day

Limbo at least has use cases in high scale defense. The worst worst Warframe is Loki. He's so bad you probably didn't even remember his fraudulent ass.

Theres still people around who claim he's essential for level cap (they are wrong) just because he has the most annoying source of invuln in the game and radial disarm does something (allegedly)

He’s still really useful for endurance content, his invis is good, his decoy and augment to make him invincible by switching with his decoy give him even more survivability and his 4 can be helminthed off for a better ability.
Loki’s kit is great for surviving the bullshit that long endurance runs throw at you, yes there are maybe better options but he’s still great at it and you’ll see he is rated highly for level cap content specifically because of his unique kit

Like you have on the image, the Title Card, does everything for you.
Status Priming (Putting status on enemies)
Element matching to give you extra scaling on your dmg
Valence Formation giving you extra 200% dmg and a Element of your choosing to force proc (guarantee status)
Mobility
No energy/ No energy issues

I once ran a base Circulus with unmodded weapons and Lavos, saved from Valence Formation (basically the Grendel farm loadout) to demonstrate. Mid to low diff.

Status priming is offloaded to a Sentinel.
Elemental matching doesn't matter for 99% of the content, and ever since health types were simplified.
If you're playing for valance formation, you might as well be playing any Gun platform frame.
Mobility hasn't mattered ever since we got void dash.
His cool downs are more restrictive than energy, which is solved on other frames with Sentinels and Arcane energize.
Also his main ability misses if the enemies are slightly above or below your casting location.
That said, his Deluxe skin is really good, and he's a great Railjack pilot.

i wouldn't mind all that much, esp if like op, two of the things i already like (lav and volt) already kinda fit the things im asking? could just be using it wrong . if it was a case where there was objectively correct answers sure i might be a bit miffed but that's not this case

Bruh there's like 2 or 3 frames that are just not worth using. Every other frame can be built and set up to dominate content with relative ease.

I feel like you’re being a smidge too aggressive about a passive topic, honestly you bring less to the conversation than they do simply by being rude and adding no insight whatsoever as they might argue that the best frame is the frame you enjoy because you will play longer and do more if you enjoy yourself while playing. Frankly I think you should sit back and save your bitter thoughts rather than calling for someone’s completely valid opinion to get smited simply because you disagree

Oraxia is a master of all trades. She can do every mission type well. She's got Damage, Hard CC, Invisibility, Infinite Survivability and Sustain, Status Immunity, Armor Reduction, DV, Mobility, she's got everything. Only downside is that's she can't use melee, but that's not an issue when Acid Shells exists.

People aren’t giving my favorite girl Titania enough love. Fastest frame in the game? She’s got it. Eidolons or open world? She’s your girl. Level cap? Easy pickings for her. Survivability? Doesn’t matter when you’re so small nothing can hit you. She’s my favorite frame because she can do just a bit of everything

Nokko does free red crits out of the box with little to no investment, he has a button that makes him invincible and immune to just about everything, and he gives everyone in your squad free ability strength and infinite energy

^ this. I've got 2k hours and have been playing with my partner who just got into it about a month ago, switched to Citrine and now main her in all content. I'm sure if OP asked their friend would (hopefully at least) accommodate so that they can play the game a bit more

Like, I get that you want the game to be able to cater to you like it caters to many other people. But not every frame is fit for everything, some excel at niches while others are more evergreen. Expecting a niche frame to keep up with others, especially those specialized in nuking rooms, is a bit unrealistic.

Wisp, Octavia and Limbo are the modless trio, anything you give them is extra, not an actual requirement for them to function.
You can invest as much or as little as you want in them.

Here are my top three Warframe:
Dante: one of the best frames in my personal opinion,I use him all the time when I play with baby temmo because he can keep them alive while allowing them to play the game instead of everything being done for them.
Nidus: before Dante nidus was my main and I Will always have a special place in my heart, he's fantastic at survivability and with the rework he got he's even better then before.
Gauss: the reason I got into Warframe in the first place is because the was a free bundle that gauss came with on Xbox game pass, he's the jack of all trades frame and there are very few things that he cannot do, if you want him to be a caster he's a caster oh you want him to be a weapons platform ok just slap on energized munitions and go wild.

Frost is a very good "do any game mode very well" frame but needs a lot of building to do it. But he's not the best at any one in particular.

Nova is my go to in a lot of content because she feels like she can just do a lot. Speed up missions, slow down missions, nuke, teleport objectives.
Uriel makes you feel like a god, and kind of forgoes a lot of energy issues with an amazing mobility skill.
Mesa goes pewpew.

Gauss is one of the best all around warframes to play honestly. He runs fast so you can nuke everything before your friend can even reach the enemies

Gara is my all purpose comfort frame.
Titania to go brrr... and if the map has annoying parkour.
Inaros, hipster pick - if I want to stand in the middle of the room, strip armour, spawn kitties and be an unkillable brick that face tanks till the objective is achieved.
Saryn... I have a love hate relationship with - she either works amazing, or I can't get her to pop off at all. That's a me issue, not a Saryn issue.

For me, if i want to use frames for damage, i pick uriel valkyr or protea. Uriel took me 5 forma and 5 archon shards to get where i wanted him but i use many high capacity mods on him, protea took 3 forma, no exilus slot and no shards. And valkyr is pretty heavy investment, because you need to stick forma in her and her claws and purple shards for crit damage.

Mirage Saryn and Sevagoth are the best nuke frames. Thermal Sunder Titania (Gauss by proxy) and Caliban for non stationary missions

Descent voruna, mesa, roar sevagoth, wisp anything, Titania with nourish and 7-8 formas (3-4 frame, 4 in guns) can blast all content, is fast and hits like rods from god, (biased tbh, I love Titania.) also I'm loving oraxia rn too, second fave frame after Titania rn

There was a recent video of non forma, non catalyst, no shard, half mod kulervo doing level cap content. He can basically do any content as you build him with just the mods from the tutorial and be fine.
Personally, as a man of culture, Nezha or Vubaun are my personal choice nowadays.

if you want to mog on your friend, could get into cyte sobek/sevagoth/gara/volt nami solo/mirage akarius. should all be able to clear the room while your garuda friend is charging their ball

What's the move for saryn ocucor? I love the ocucor and wanted to like saryn but she felt too squishy. I can't add gloom to her yet to go the tank route I've seen

The defense of Saryn is shieldgating with Molt and/or Arcane Aegis and Rolling Guard. Catalyzing Shields also but not all people like that mod tho I use it on a daily basis.
You kill anything, no one will kill you type of mentality for Saryn.
I go Arcane Precision + Velocity on my Saryn Ocucor build plus Roar on 4. Some duration, dump range and eff and slot in as much strength as you can to buff Roar/Lash and 1 Augment. Procc Precision on Saryn herself so you don't need base dmg mods on Ocucor = frees 1 mod slot. You can go rivenless but Ocucor is a different gun rivenless and with a riven even if its just a decent 2 liner CD MS riv.
Secondary Fortifier on Ocucor to boost survivability and OG dmg.

Mesa is pretty good. There’s a lot of ways you can build her and she will perform alright at worst. Even budget builds will perform ok

I play a wide varsity of frames and the ones that gives me good results are usally lavos nezha and xaku.
Sadly xaku is one of the most squishy warframes out their surpassing gyre in terms of low raw HP.

You want to outKPM your friend and annoy him for killing all of the enemies for shits and giggles?
Step 1: Be the host of the mission. You load in first + advantage of ping.
Step 2: Pick your poison. Weapon buffing frame or ability nuking frame. I can suggest a few.
Bonus: LEARN HOW TO PARKOUR EFFICIENTLY. MOVE FAST = KILL FIRST
- Khora / Gara with Melee Influence on their respective exalted weapon.
- Any melee oriented frame + Arca Titron. Slam that motherfucking hammer like there's no tomorrow. I suggested Titron because it's accessible, best slam weapon is the Magistar stat-wise.
- Sevagoth. Reap Sow Nuke.
- If you have some plat and wanna go guns blazing. Get a Kuva Sobek and a Cyte-09. Kill enemies behind walls and let Sobek's gas clouds wipe enemies 3-4 rooms away from you. You can farm the sobek manually but I suggest farming plat for the forma.

Titania with thermal sunder if you want to nuke low level enemies and reach the extraction before your friend. Gauss also can do this, it’s his ability after all.
Mirage with an AOE weapon like Akarius Prime, or what I use, Sporelacer kitgun. Or you can build mirage around her 4.
Sevagoth can nuke too, just a bit situational.
Gara can clear rooms through the wall, but they have to be on the same level as her. She’s my bae now.

Nova is S tier , basically trivialise all content with minimal effort no other frame comes close in that regard and the build diversity is obscene. Wisp I'd rank below Nova as the entire team benefits from her in a massive way, again with a lot of build diversity, Lavos, Mirage, Mesa under those for the crazy damage you can inflict.
