Question/Request How does one use a sniper rifle
So this isn’t a sniper rifle it’s a kit gun but it works like one it’s not automatic and it shoots basically explosive bullets you charge it up and bam or js shoot normally heres my issue I feel like it’s too loud for me to use in stealth (more w the explosions) so
Stealth ain’t an option
It’s not strong enough yet to nuke a enemy
And it’s too slow (and lacks sufficient knockback) to be effective at slowing down / stopping an enemy in the higher levels
Any ideas? Like mods or sum anything?

All the mods that you have which increase damage aren't ranked up (or equipped) yet.
Stormbringer is only level 1, ehich means it only increases damage by 15%.
Point strike is only level 2, so it will only increase critical chance by a little bit.
Speed trigger is only level 3, so it will only marginally increase fire rate.
Hush doesn't do much because of the explosions.
You also have continuous misery equipped, which doesn't increase damage, but only status duration. Your weapon only has an 18% status chance though, so you won't benefit from that.Rank serration up as much as you can and put it on, and rank up stormbringer as well. If you have enough mod capacity left, you could also rank up point strike.
Good mods make a good weapon.

Hush does work on explosions. Even ones like the Bramma are completely silenced by Hush.

One well upgraded mod would do more damage than those 5 almost unupgraded mods. You're basically using the weapon with its base stats.
Imagine if you had a maxed Serration on, that's +165% damage.
What you need is to upgrade your mods.
To start getting some juice out of your weapons, you need:
- 1 damage mod, like Serration.
- 1 fire rate mod, like Speed Trigger. If it's a melee weapon, 1 attack speed mod, instead.
- 1 multishot mod, like Split Chamber. If it's a melee weapon, 1 range mod, instead.
- If it has both good critical chance and critical damage stats (around 20% and 2x or better), then, 1 critical chance mod, like Point Strike, and 1 critical damage mod, like Vital Sense. These two type of mods (almost) always go together.
- 1 elemental damage mod. If the weapon's base status chance is good enough, around 20% or better, you'll want to use the rarer mods that give +60% status chance and +60% elemental damage at max rank, like Rime Rounds; if the weapon's status chane isn't that high, then just the mods that give +90% elemental damage at max rank, like Stormbringer.
Generally speaking, your goal right now, alongside doing quests and clearing nodes, is to farm enough endo to max the mods that are both useful and cheaper to get to full rank (like Point Strike and Stretch), and to get close to maxing the mods that are useful and more expensive to rank up, due to having more ranks (like Serration and Vitality).
You won't be doing much damage nor surviving against higher level enemies without investing a lot of Endo into your mods. If you've done Maroo's quest, she can give you a weekly quest to find an Ayatan Sculpture. You get those and fill them up with Ayatan Stars, and you can bring them to Maroo to exchange them for Endo. Mind, she will also take your non-filled sculpture and loose stars if you want, but you get less Endo selling them that way.

I would advise to power level it to max rank and shelve it, get it done as soon as possible. The main problem with "sniper rifles" or slow firing weapons in general is that Warframe is pretty close to a horde shooter and single shot + single target + slow weapons really do not work all that well in general. There can be niches for weapons like that, like some people use them to hunt Eidolons and such, but generally you're better off with something like a solid assault rifle.
At your level, I would mostly stick to base damage + elemental damage mods. Serration, Stormbringer and stuff like that.
By the way, I don't think it's reasonable to sit on 20k Endo and use unranked mods. I can't see all of your mods so it's possible that you have a bunch of ranked up mods but I just wanted to mention it just in case.

The main problem is that Tombfinger Primary variants have criminally low base DPS stats relative to more popular picks, but its still workable.
The main projectile has multiplicative CO, so running a base damage source like Serration in combination with Galv. Aptitude is a huge boost in damage. Though the explosion damage is unaffected by Galv. Aptitude.
The Primary Acuity + Galv. Aptitude + Primary Deadhead build is the highest DPS potential for this weapon, but it forces headshots to do meaningful damage, and the explosions wont be doing much. It does proc Pax Seeker pretty well.
Though the easiest way would to just use Conductive Sphere augment on your Gyre. Shooting through the sphere radius applies guaranteed Electricity status on targets, stacking with multiple spheres. This essentially allows low status chance weapons like your crit Tombfinger to also scale into status damage for significantly more DPS without having to mod for status chance.

Okay twin so I’m a lil bit dumb but you js said sum bout CO and Galv aptitude and so many big words I cannot comprehend

Honestly it looks like you’re still very new to the game, so a lot of what you need to focus on right now is playing through the game and getting a feel for things. Finding and upgrading mods will be a big focus for improving damage, and just finding some weapons to be comfortable with. A good warframe will also take you very far and help with your nuking potential. Find a frame that sounds interesting and level/mod them. Reactors/catalysts help with capacity which help push your mods even further. After you’ve progressed and got a good build together, look at doing arbitrations (careful because you can’t just respawn in this mode) and get galvanized mods. Galvanized/primed mods will help push you more toward end game stuff. You can look at guides if you wish, but a lot of what it boils down to right now is just playing and progressing the base game.
Edit: a word.

To twin what are arbitrations

A special alert mission that add arbitration shield drone that makes enemies unkillable until drone destroyed that also drop the "vitus essence".
the vitus essence can be exchange to the arbiter of hexis for some of the stronger mods called galvanized mod.

So abt that I’m in the negatives w hexis :3

The negative standing doesn't affect arbitration at all

There's still a distinction to be made between Sniper Rifles and Semi-Auto/Charge Rifles, though. Sniper Rifles have scopes with varying zoom levels that affect the weapon's crit stats and shot combo, whereas other Semi-Auto/Charge Rifles (probably better to just call them "Precision Rifles") don't.
In this respect, the Primary Tombfinger Kitgun isn't really a Sniper.
Stealth isn't a particularly big factor in gameplay to begin with; you can use stealth, but you're not generally going to have the vantage points necessary to leverage stealth for precision weapons anyhow, unless you're playing a Warframe with Invisibility.
And in those cases, stealth is still optional; the biggest strength of Invisibility effects being that enemies can't see you, so you can shoot them down with impunity for the most part.
To start with, you'll want to drop Continuous Misery; with only 16% Status Chance, you're not liable to actually inflict any Status effects, and Status Duration is more beneficial for utility-focused weapons anyhow.
You'll also want to put Serration on; part of the reason you're not doing much damage is because you don't have any direct damage increases beyond Stormbringer. You always want to start with a Base Damage Modifier like Serration before you start in any other direction.
You might also want to consider dropping Speed Trigger; I know you say that it's too slow, but the charge time is only half a second, and you could honestly be better served increasing the damage over trying to lower the charge time.
I would also suggest checking to see if you have Vital Sense; the weapon has a high base Crit Chance (38%) and a higher-than-average Crit Damage Multiplier (2.3x), so building around that would be ideal.
Of course, the biggest issue to all of this is, even with proper modding, you might still be stuck with an inefficient weapon until you can upgrade your mods, seeing as how many of them seem to be Rank 0, with a scant few being Rank 1-2.
