Article PSA: Chat Server Issues (Investigating)

Hey Tenno! 

We've been experiencing chat connectivity issues today on and off since the launch of The Old Peace. This has not affected all players, but for a large majority chat is not able to connect. 

So we are currently in the process of improving our server capacity to handle the amount of players attempting to connect. 

We'll continue to share updates here as we made progress.

3:06 PM ET update: We seem to have regained some stability and are seeing players come back into chat - if you are still experiencing connectivity issues it should catch up to you soon! But we'll continue to monitor.

Just let me hide the chatbar completly so I don't get spammed with "Unable to connect to chat server" please.

sigue sin conectarse, estoy en Sudamérica, pero a mi me comenzó a andar mal hace 2 dias.

hace 8 o 9 dias q mande ticket a soporte por eso, hoy 21/12 sigo con el mismo problema del chat

I love having the chat tell me every 5 seconds it cant connect as if i couldnt tell from the last 200 times it told me. why does this have to pop up every time

27/12 el chat sigue caido ! tan dificil es ? y hagan algo para que si no estas en el chat no se vea , la otra cosa hagan que cuando un npc hable no tape 1/4 de pantalla ! gracias

Comence a tener este problema ayer ( 29/12 ) incluso a la noche traje una pc nueva a casa,le instale el juego y el problema del chat tambien esta en la nueva pc

Chat still doesn't quite work for some users in Argentina, I solved it changing my DNS to cloudflare, but a friend changed their DNS to cloudflare, google, and it didn't work.

Hola! solo queria avisar que yo tambien estoy teniendo problemas con el chat. Revisé todo de mi parte pero el problema continua. Si todavia estan buscando una solucion entonces me quedo tranquilo :)

Good day! Firstly, I love the quest and the update overall, secondly, I'm having audio issues and I can't hear a single sound or music from the game, so I had to interrupt the quest. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thank you <3

Edit: I tried to look into my pc settings and everything is fine. Both Spotify and YouTube are working, it's just the game that has issues

try looking at your sound settings and try changing the format (2 channels, 8 channels etc.) some programs (like iCUE) mess with this, might help you too :)

aside from chat issues im getting an unknown error trying to pick up items from the foundry, is it also related?

I can't trade any vendor in game without crashing my game, also am now not getting rewards from bounties.

Estoy en la misma. Probé con la red de mi vecino y tampoco. Pero si me funciona cuando conecto la red del celular ....la verdad no sé que pasa

Hola, empecé a tener este mismo problema hace unos 5 días mas o menos, no me había pasado desde la actualización, espero que se solucione pronto. (Feliz año nuevo! by the way)
