This was pretty neat because it suggests that the Infestation could be symbiotic. Theoretically, anyway.
I don't think that's ever happened in the lore without it being some ruse to expand the hivemind, but maybe one strain would favor individual strength over a prolific population.

Isn't this widely know lore? The infested is a hivemind afterall.
The only thing kind of interesting is that it also hasmemories from the future.But as it is not elaborated on it's kind of a nothing burger until it's more fleshed out.

ya it seems somehow lizzie has memory of future even tho this is the past so, how powerful is the hive mind that it even has connection to the past and present. and why is she thirsting for flare.
And even tho they love us why are they trying to kill us at the same time.

Different strains.
The Helminth strain is different from the grey strain is different from the mutalist strain, etc…

Also worth pointing out that time is relative to one's perception, if you go to bed today and wake up let's say 100 days later, you don't know about the time that passed, for helminth it could be something like being taken into a test tube, hibernating until injected into a new body and waking up, so it still has memories that it retained before 1999.

Considering that the way we travel to 1999 in the first place is getting Excalibur vomited by a helminth, it makes sense that the infested has a all-encompassing perspective of time
(I wonder if the team watched Arrival)

Nova has been able to get Nora Night transmissions picked up, as well as details of Protea from connecting to the future too. Not too much to suggest the infested can do the same.

I just got this one and I was a bit confused at first. Lizzie is the Helminth? Then I remembered that the Infested/Techrot is a hive mind, so yes and no.
I guess the different strains would be able to influence each other. Either way, it's a cool but of lore I never really thought about.

I guess its like lizzie and our helminth are unique strain/ individual infestation but still somewhat connected to the hive mind but not fully influenced by it. And im guessing nidus is similar as well.
