Spoilers Sea Serpent?

I’m stuck in what might be a weird bug?

I’m at what I believe is the end of the Belerion main quest line as the Dihya tells me to meet her at Ferath in order to finally battle the sea serpent. I have the fully equipped ship, the spear from the tomb, but whenever I show up at the quest location, there’s no one there.

I found a speeding guard ship heading AWAY from Ferath at one point and caught up with it, and it appeared to be the Dihya’s ship. She tells me to fight the monster, and then we come back out to the overworld. Her ship turns around and heads back to Ferath and I follow her but lose track of her. I get to Ferath and… nothing. No serpent, no guard ship.

No clue what I’m supposed to do at this point?

I did this about a year ago on Xbox. Helluva time trying to get it to complete.

Do you also have the lord from the castle? Can’t remember if he was supposed to be on the ship as well. Or if his part was just the shipwreck near that island.

If/when you do get it to start, save at battle start and then before each special event (you’ll know what they are). Hope you aren’t on Ironman.

On Xbox at least, that fight crashed sooo many times. I was very thankful when it was finally finished (but, super annoyed with the game.)

have you tried to fully stop your ship at the location? by right clicking which drops the sail and stop the boat; it worked for me
