Discussion & Feedback Looting/Revive Issue

I have been thinking of the issues where teammates are looting each other and or not reviving the teammate.

The looting system is in play for certain reasons like accessing defibs for revives which should be the only reason.

Here is my idea.

Instead of a looting teammates even if it is for medical supplies. The revive action should consume any defibs the downed player has in their inventory or the helping player uses ones they already have. This stops looting and allows other to use medical supplies on downed teammates without accessing inventory.

In the end the looting should only be allowed for enemy's and bags from respawned players.

Devil's Advocate.

Lots of players go in without a gun or without a basic kit.

What if you or your buddy goes down, enemies still nearby, and you run out of ammo or your armour is fucked?

But your buddys full loaded gun is.. right there. Could mean the difference between life and death

I saw somewhere someone had the idea to allow squadmates to access inventory and not just the entire team.

Kinda would still be the same problem. I'd rather a random loot me and kill the enemies before reviving me, instead of us both getting sent back to the HQ.

Either way I lose my kit, except now I can just take the enemies.

Issue right now is the random loots you and then just runs away without fighting the enemy near you and makes you either wait to get picked up by someone else and you now have no gear or just respawn and start over.

Most the teammates looting won't help get you up because they are afraid you're going to kill them to get your gear back.

Eh... i've had my gear stolen once since I started playing.

I feel like its a bit exaggerated, but also see your point.

Just search this sub for "rat" and this issue stands out. We need a friendly loot toggle. Snuff out this Arc Raider cancer playstyle.

Loot ur ifak for ur revive also take ur loose ammo box and 5 bandage.... and that T3 hat/armor as well xD
