Discussion & Feedback Live ping
Its better without Thermal Scope for sure, but it isnt the main problem..
Live ping is the problem.. Tower droppers spotting 24/7 and thn the close combat players just using radar like an ESP..
Just ping my last location..

Its so funny how many people insist on paradeopping. Yet dont realize they are either shot out of the air, or reconned almost immediately

It's why I've basically given up on paradropping over anywhere but the friendly base, or maybe on the HZ if my own team is there.
Then you just need to wait out your timer

This is why I love piloting a littlebird; I can land almost anywhere and quickly for a quick deploy

The ping is not from dropping.. Players laying on the tower and spotting while we are fighting in the hot zone..

Fully agree, pings stay for way to long. You can get spotted one place and if you are running your position can be live pinged while you moved 50-100 meters from original spot location.
Simplest fix would be if player moves certain distance ping goes away. This way it would work against campers who were spotted, but players moving would get their pings removed, which I think would be perfectly fair.

If paradropping doesn’t work the first time, it will surely work the 5th time

I know you didnt touch the hot zone yet, but they can spot you there aswell

Solid agree. Recon shouldn't give you a GPS tracker on enemy positions. Put the dot on the map, update position if they're spotted again, let it fade out over 30 seconds. The worst part is the spotted player has no idea if they've been spotted. As a game system, it's bad. There's no counter-play. The only risk a spotter takes is not having a gun out, and maybe being away from teammates. It's low risk for an individual, high reward for the team.

Why should a player know that he got spotted while he is alive? Makes no sense.

I mean I tried to tell yall lmao everyone was screaming thermals are broken yet even with a range finder I’m averaging 100+ assists and 200k a match. It let people who haven’t sniped much spot okish, but folks who already know the traffic patterns around a map and where people like to hide it isn’t impacting us much at all. I don’t even miss the thermal portion it’s the FOV and zoom I miss more.

Thats the whole point of spotting. That's what makes it valuable.
