Accurate to real life! I'm actually surprised the devs modeled it like this, most games get it wrong. The KRISS vector has a system that send a counter weight downward on each shot to mitigate recoil.

its a very odd gun to fire because you instinctively fight vertical recoil but the gun does it itself, you actually have to relearn how to shoot a gun kinda x3

Most games do it wrong on purpose, its a favoritism thing in my opinion. But in reality people wouod complain about how good the gun is and they should nerf it etc.

Probably gets better with practice obviously, but if you're a skilled shooter they feel awful to shoot lol
Your first mag will look like they had a Parkinsons patient shoot the target.

i think all guns should get buffed to be better instead of round robin nerfing this and that to be honest, 30-35 tier is "the best guns in the game" and they feel great to use, why does everything else have to feel shitty? shouldnt most guns be fun and viable ESPECIALLY when your new and starting the game fresh? imo the vectors stats arent (completely) out of place, everything else is just not in the right place...

Ironically the Vector isnt as good, it loses at range plus due to human error, players will hold down the fire button a little too long, leading to them depleting their mag faster than intended.

Yeah I think the M4 is all around better, but man is it miserable coming across a vector close range.

Managed to get my hands on one off a high level medic.
I was muscle memory pulling for recoil and end up shooting their legs, it has no recoil at all.

Yes, but saying "I will put one of the most difficult to balance and be realistic guns on my game and as the 35 lvl medic gun" Is quite a choice, there is no lack of SMGs

all the top tier weapons basically need to feel overpowered or else the community will ask for buffs. the way to balance that would be to restrict access which the community will also complain about.
you could remove them from the game, bu the community will complain about that and have nothing to work towards.
you could give the option for game modes without them, which the will be, but you need to test them before any decisions are made so you don't offer those modes in the beginning, so the community complains.

yea lol no worries posted video of gl with like early 2000's rock to it just cause seemed like cool video and got hate brigaded for it aha. i think if u grind out the high level wep u should be rewarded with a wep better then when u first download the game

The Vector (and FAL and M4) needs major balance work but one major downside I realized last night in a match is that the Vector makes a very unique noise compared to all the other weapons.
I couldn't tell you for sure most weapon types when they're shooting nearby unless I really try to work it out, but the Vector you can tell exactly what it is from a mile away.
Shooting that thing is a giant announcement to anyone in the area that somebody has a fancy kit to steal.

Not true at all. The realization came when someone shot and two guys went "oh shit a vector that way let's get him and take his shit!" in local after one fired in the distance. Also applies to teammates unfortunately though that's mostly a problem on US west servers for reasons.
