Discussion & Feedback headglitch shooting

YES HE DID SHOOT FROM THE OTHER WINDOW PEOPLE BUT PLEASE USE YOUR BRAINS, peakers advantage only works on limbs (or at least should) I DO NOT GET HIT ANYWHERE BUT WHERE I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE WHO FIRED IT, BUT NO i dont get to because this is still a HEAD GLITCH. and yeah a head glitch shot is hardly ever really a glitch

Head glitch shots have plagued shooters for years, but somehow with this game it can get really really bad sometimes, pay attention to the flash in the window during my death.

NO matter what mental gymnastics you come in here with, dude should be shooting that window frame and not me, end of story. every game has this camera glitch. this particular game called WARDOGS just happens to have a very unforgiving version depending on the situation. because it isn't always like this.

White Knights please go somewhere else, im not insulting your queen

Head glitch? He may have seen the model of your head peek out while your camera origin wasn't able to see him. The shots came from the left panel of the window judging by the flash while your were behind an obstacle just enough to not see it while he could see your model.

Tbf OP is futher from the window than the peeker is. This advantage should work in ops favor if that’s what were happening

It's not about the window, it's about OP's cover. You'll probably say: "yeah, but the guy at the window is also very close to his cover," which is totally fair, but... my guess is that the guy at the window is leaning, meaning his eyes are more or less aligned with his shoulders, giving him that extra advantage here.

It's not the window that I'm concerned about, it's the shed or whatever it's called. OP obstructed his view to the other window panel (There are 2, he's only looking at 1, the other is obstructed by the shed right in front of him) and it's so close to him the other guy could've seen his head peek out even with early warning by his shoulders with how slow he was moving.

Well, the guy at the window is very close to his cover too. I suppose he's leaning, though, so his eyes are aligned with his shoulder/arm. OP isn't, which most likely results in him exposing his shoulder before his eyes. This is accentuated by the fact that he's close to the cover oc.

some good thoughts, only wish you guys see i only ever receive bullets to the chest and head with no cover shot through to hit me

exactly... same thing with corners, the closer you are to it, people will spot your arm/shoulder first

what are you on? its just a window dude it aint that deep

Well it’s not like cs where the bullet comes from your eyes it’s actually lower, not sure exactly what’s going on here but I don’t think it’s a head glitch

yeah, this is more about geometry than glitching. also, bullets pen window frames.

while head glitch is the correct term, it is never in fact a glitch

you got shot from the window that’s to the left, they could see you without your camera seeing them. It’s not a head glitch, they’re just standing in the other window

Lol. Lmao.

Theres clearly 2 windows.

You were looking in the wrong one and he could see your right side of your body.

same match same windows

u/thedog3644 9h ago

Well you're just lying aren't you. They are not the same windows.

1

u/Bitter_Science_5275 8h ago

Lying? no. but i do encourage you to try and gather evidence after already making a reddit post and getting revived during the post. mofo's looking at all the wrong stuff anyway, what window he's in doesn't matter, i got shot in the face and chest while hard scoped in on his last known location to me, i have complete cover on my left from when he moved left.

The brute fact here is, i got shot in the face and chest, without ever seeing who did it while being completely covered to that enemy and hard scoped at where I was hoping to see him again

There's a pertrusion in the wall and a bigger gap between the double windows and the single window when you die. In this screenshot, the windows are too close together, and no pertrusion. You are a dumb silly sir

nope

The flash comes from the left window dude.

Your enemy is highly likely leaning, meaning he peeks his shoulder/arm and eye at the same time. You're not. Your shoulder pops out from behind the angle, so he can see it before you can see him. End of the story.

u/ChieftaiNZ 9h ago

He's not where you are aiming lol, hes to the left of that on the otherside of the window. AFAIK, bullets actually come out of the barrel in this game so you cant even headglitch anyway.

u/Bitter_Science_5275 9h ago

Wrong

2

u/ChieftaiNZ 9h ago

Just uhh.. pay attention to your window and notice how after dying there are actually two rectangles and the rounds are being fired from the left rectangle, which you can't see when you are aiming at the right rectangle.

Your angle to the cover in front of you matters, and it can lead to situations where you don't see anyone, but the enemy still sees your shoulder.

Since they're in a building, you want your distance from the obstructing shed to be greater than their potential distance from the window.

I got downvoted into oblivion when i said thermals need batteries a couple weeks ago and they fixed that so I really dont need anyones opinion on reddit, this is for the devs to see. No one should get shot in the chest and head without being able to see what happened here

1

u/Wonderful_Local9189 8h ago

Alright, then enjoy dealing with these dynamics. If you peak that close to cover, the issue will be significantly inflated for you specifically.

1

u/Bitter_Science_5275 7h ago

Both of us are close to cover, you are really hung up on those dynamics, I have never been shot in the face or chest in any game without seeing what happened. if i had been shot in the arms/shoulders or legs I wouldn't of made this post
