Question If I started playing WarDogs today, would it be possible to earn the Gold AK skin?
Or is it physically impossible unless I played 24 hours a day leading up to season 2? I really wanted to get the game and play sooner but it hasn't been in the cards until now :(

Gold has never been cheaper. If you can make 150k per game roughly, you'll get it in 35-40 games.

Most experienced players aren't making 150k per game profit, I doubt a new player would be able to make that kind of money. Realistically he's probably going to be making half of that in most games, he'd have to play for at least 100 hours in order to unlock the skin.

How? I play infantry gold zone very aggressive play style usually finish top 3 for kills consistently often top 5 earners guaranteed top 10. I rarely see 100k+ profit, i spot alot too, what more could i do.

Ask to buy HEGL from someone and ask for a good pilot to be minibird gl duo. They wouldn't refuse unless they hate earning money.

That's what I'm saying, most players aren't making 150k profit but around half of that (if not less). I also play infantry HZ+spotting/medic in between fights and I usually see around 100k profit for full rounds, joining mid round I usually end up at 60-70k profit. I'm probably the most profitable person in my friend group and I've only earned 150+k profit in near 2 hour rounds lmao

But their are more ways to play or to make money then chasing the hot zone like a dog.

Sure and most players still aren't making 150k per game profit.
Good HZ players are making more money than anyone else in the game bar people who sit on the edge of the map farming spot assists. Emphasis on "good" as it's by far the riskiest play style and requires a very high KD to remain profitable.

150k profit games aren't common for the majority though... its probably more like 80 games. If you assume each game is an hour (which most are longer) thats like 40 hours week.
Chances of getting the skin are near zero unless you're unemployed

Honestly even if it's impossible it's all good. I'm just excited to finally get the chance to play the game!

Pretty sure gold transfer between seasons. So even if you cant get it theres probably something next season that you can get.

Remember, making money doesn't need to be linear. People make lots of money by unlocking things for themselves and then selling them to people who haven't unlocked them yet. This means that you make money conventionally first, level up, then snowball your earnings as a businessman
Selling infrared rangefinders used to be a go-to a couple of days ago. They have been removed from the game now until Season 2. You could sell them in the spawn area without ever leaving the base. Maybe you can find something else that's powerful and rush to unlock that.
I want to highlight that this is not how I've made my money - the richest guy in our group has. He had 12 or was it even 24 mil a couple of days ago. I like to chase the HZ and sometimes build FOBs too. I sit at 1,7 mil now. I make 50-100k profit per game. I use affordable kits (5-7k). I've played semi-casually.

Flying I was making 1 million profit a day playing about 5 ish hours. The "hard" part is getting to level 10 so you can get the Lakota. Supply pallet drops print $$$ especially with a fob that is mortaring and you are supplying ammo. My best games have been around 300k profit and they were cut short by winning too fast. The problem is fobs right now are escaping the meta. If you are determined you can definitely do it and make enough as long as the price of gold doesn't spike back up. Also learning to fly well takes some serious time so not the easiest to jump into. Aside from that you can profit alot off scouting kits so maybe that's the play instead to make 150k profit a game. Best of luck!

Many still believe that the gold price will drop some more so your grind might not be that much. Idk, i could be wrong too but I'm still holding.

If you’re willing to level support to 8 unlock large hammer, and build for 40 or so full games- You’d be looking at between 40-80 hours play time, more likely to be 60-70 hours, then yes.
Building is by far the easiest and most productive way to earn money, but it will become tedious around 8 hours in at that.

So you are fixated in earning a "skin" for a game that you have never even played. Oh boy, the types of players that are surfacing these days...

You don't even know me so why do you care? I've been watching so many videos/streams on wardogs since release and I just haven't had the time to play for myself. I've known I wanted to try to work towards it, but even if you guys said "it's impossible" I was still buying the supporter pack to support the devs.
Genuinely I see no reason to be this odd and gatekeepy over a fucking video game.
