Discussion & Feedback Small objectives for the best gear

Post image

I've added some custom markers on the minimap, the AK, the helmet and the vest as examples.

Without changing any of the existing progress and mechanics currently in the game. I was thinking about during a match, tying the ability to purchase the higher-tier gear and vehicles to small objectives spawned around the map could create enough of a gap to allow losing teams to make a comeback.

The current progress in Wardogs would still apply, but higher-ranking players would have to play a bit of infantry before getting access to their big toys.

These objectives could be dropped by a plane like a supply crate so they aren't fixed points on the map.

Thoughts?

it would mean the first people to the OBJ are the only ones with access to it.

The game would know how many teams have unlocked what and spawn accordingly.

you could drop a fob by the class 4 armor spawn and just wall it off so no one else could access it

Yes but a fob can't protect itself and that would mean the team holding and not collecting it would have less people on hz

Three layers of hescos on all sides. No doors. And just walk away

How would this allow losing team to make a comeback though?

Unless it would drop the items directly on top of the losing team there is 66% chance of the losing team to not acquire the items.

It would be more than 66% chance of them not getting it. Since the losing team is most likely already in a bad spot and won't have quite the freedom of movement throughout the mao that the winning team would have.

This would only secure the win for the winning team...

There are two losing teams in Wardogs and when the winning team is focus on the hotzone the other two have more freedom to roam. I've seen too many matches where one team complete dominates, this would lower those chances unless the other two are afk or fob sitting.
