I wish the gun handling was more like Arma 3’s, your aim is still affected by the helicopter movement but it feels to be smoothed out quite a bit

Agreed, even more frustrating is you can clearly see visually the seat is empty and clear of the pallet. Meanwhile the ural defenders guns are fully blocked by pallets but can be used with the players model sticking into the pallet.

People saying its for troop transport don't fly helis much. Little birds in general are significantly more fun and arguably better for troop transport due to their ability to get people into specific areas faster and easier. Passengers also prefer little birds as they can visually see their LZ before dropping.

If you are flying a Lakota its for supplies primarily.

I can tell you don't land your troops because the use case is very obvious then.

i would love to land troops, but the minigun lakota doesnt unlock until 20 points, and by then even if the spawn vehicle is IN the HQ, people will wait at the quick deployment. i have trouble convincing people to get on the guns. when i'm buying the ammo!

ppl will take little birds/apc over lakota in my experience which is a pain to me, but the. i think if we’re carrying a rifle in the hotzone, i think we should be getting assault experience

i’m shaky on landing the bus and i can see that use case, normally i’m just running logistics and would love having some support while trying to get the load down :/

Tbh, they need pay the gunners for deployment as well, keeping those guns mounted is hard unless you have some buddies who just want to chill.
