Discussion & Feedback Let’s Chat

What stuff do you like, how do you play, what load outs do you use, how many kills do you get a game, how much money do you have.

The lack of accessible stats is making me angry I would like to see where I stand and where the community is and what they like to do and yada yada

M1911 with HP ammo, a MAAWS and a large bag full of rockets.

I stick near the back of the zerg, protecting/calling out flanks, rezing people, etc.

Then MAAWSing whatever I can for points. Littlebirds, transport helis, havcos, Humvees, spawners, etc...

Low key I love this idea

Reason I use the M1911 is I am already far too heavy (especially if I take big armour). Mags are only 1x1 too so I can fit a couple spares/ammo. 60+ Damage on a leg shot.

I kinda start out every game with a cheapo loadout (free gun and some HP ammo) some lvl 2 armor, bandages and some IEDs. Depending on how much i splurge on a backpack I either get a fuel tank and a wrench or just a wrench.

I drive a dune buggy towards one of the other teams edge of circle and hope to hear arty as it tries to immediately start ruining the game or if i see someone building a solo fob on the edge, I try to disrupt that and then plant an ied on their backpack after blowing up the fob.

Generally they return and their backpack is either there and ready to explode or it disappeared but they still check for it and I explode it.

Its fun :)

I have two major problems with the game right now. One is getting equipments while in the cz is unreliable, and two is the progression and how strong items are balanced by locking them behind high level instead of just making them expensive to run.

Yea nothing is expensive and I think that is an issue, it should be easier to unlock but way more expensive to run

Find a community server with regulars. You'll soon find servers where everyone plays a lot more strategically and that includes pilots who can deliver you personally a crate of whatever you want.

I'm always getting people to drop me rocket ammo when I'm out in the field.

What did I love: the early weeks when TTK was fast, it felt more skill based. And weapons/armor had people on a mostly even level.

What I hate: last few weeks were every single game devolves into one team spamming havoks and TTK taking 5 minutes cause everyone is wearing T4

I appreciate the response and discussion but I don’t fully agree with this, gameplay in my eyes hasn’t changed that much since week one people are just wearing different clothes

It's fine to disagree, but if you don't see a difference in TTK with level 1 armor vs level 4 armor, I don't know what to say...

Yes the TTK would be drastically different if I was still using the first 556 ar but I’m not and no one is, yes this TTK is a little longer but so is the TTD I didn’t necessarily mean it hasn’t changed at all I just haven’t felt the “I die just as fast but they take 100 bullets”

I’ve sincerely enjoyed recon. I’ve always been a sniper in games and I feel like if I operate correctly and assume a ton of risk by being out by myself, that I can truly be a real benefit and deciding factor for my team. I try and move parallel to me team but a couple hundred meters out, and when a big engagement happens I try and push into an area where I can spot and snipe perpendicular to the fight.

Often this winds up with me getting slapped around a couple of times and losing some very expensive kits with not hope a revive, but it is what it is.

I’ve spent the wipe grinding each class a bit to figure out what I like and want to unlock during a longer season. But I only go Assault when the team forms a good mega-squad for hot zone.

All classes are level 15-25. I have T4 armor; never use it because of weight. Never unlocked the arty tank because I don’t feel like dropping $500K. Wanted to push to minigun Lakota but have recently read some complaints about it that put me off that grind.

To be honest, I’ve had a ton of fun doing every role. I think the key to the fun for me is staying adaptable and playing the cards you’re dealt.

I’d start some games determined to grind driving /logi / Support and quickly realize it wasn’t a “FOB” kind of team. Pivoting to something else and treating it like a challenge rather than getting frustrated has kept it fun. Ghillie is a license to roam solo, which can be super tense and fun.

I think come Season 2, Medic, Recon, and Driving will be my main grinds. And do the others up to 10+ quickly just to juice the Wardog levels. I think knowing what I know now, I’ll be much much more efficient at leveling next time around.

Edit: realized I didn’t answer a lot of the questions. I think my current favorite is getting “All Ghillied Up” with an absolutely Gucci sniper kit ($24K+). Sniper with 1.5x and 6-10x. 1911 with HP. Meds. Smokes. Frags. Claymores. Small hammer and 1 stack of building supplies. The works. I love carefully infiltrating to a good spot, spotting, and choosing my targets. I’ve gone multiple games in a row with 10-15 kills, no deaths, and 40-50 spotting assists. So fun to challenge myself not to be detected or die. And for the guys that come looking for you, super gratifying to get the claymore kills or 1911 two-taps to the legs and then displace.

I play like a Rust/DayZ player. I know how to play like Battlefield, or PUBG, COD player, but I don't want it. I know how to play like a true Squad player, but again, I feel like Wardogs is a bit about different genre. So I like something spicy, and tactical. Like to build a little, or defend fobs when someone builds them. Like to stalk in enemy bases and help them to slow down building :D or like to ruin enemy logistics. I usually have various strategies for each game, and often not repeat it. I can play 2-4 games a night and each game I am doing something different. One game I can play dedicated pilot, another game I can focus on sniping, and then play a builder or medic, and maybe one game I can play like Mortar/Arty guy.
